A reconstituting section obtains block-address information from each of read out blocks. According to the obtained pattern in the block-address information obtained by the reconstituting section, a reproducing section determines a code-scanning state of manual scanning performed along a scanning direction. When scanning is performed in an off-code state and an overspeed state, and when scanning is terminated in an incomplete state, notification is performed in each of modes differing from each other depending on the scanning state.

A code pattern image recording apparatus which allows easy layout and edit processes of a recorded code pattern image on another sheet surface without being limited by the size and the like of that sheet surface, includes a built-in microphone for inputting audio information, a code pattern image encode unit for converting the audio information into a code pattern image according to a predetermined format by processing the input audio information, a print head for continuously and optically readably printing and recording the converted code pattern image on a print medium, which is sequentially fed in a predetermined direction, along the feed direction, and a system controller for controlling to divisionally record the code pattern image by inserting non-recording regions in units of predetermined print recording lengths of the continuously recorded code pattern image along the feed direction of the print medium.

Code pattern image recording apparatus

A code information reading section selects recording codes which are respectively recorded on a plurality of recording media one at a time, and sequentially optically reads the recording codes in order to make it possible to synthesize a plurality of audio information items which are previously coded and recorded in an optically readable form and to simultaneously output them. A code information decoding section sequentially decodes the recording codes read by the code information reading section. A decoded information synthesizing section sequentially synthesizes digital audio signals sequentially decoded by the code information decoding section. A D/A converter converts the digital audio signal synthesized by the decoded information synthesizing section into an analog audio signal. An audio output section outputs the analog audio signal converted by the D/A converter as an audio output.
