Acoustic system and volume adjustment method

An antenna device includes a first plate-shaped metal plate and a second plate-shaped metal plate configuring a bow-tie antenna. The first plate-shaped metal plate and the second plate-shaped metal plate extend upwardly and downwardly from a feeding point, respectively. The feeding point is located at a position offset in a positive x direction from an x-direction center position of the first plate-shaped metal plate. A magnetic core is mounted on a feeder line that is a coaxial cable. Antenna device

Vibration generators are provided on a vehicle to give vibration to the body of an occupant in response to outside information inputted from the outside of the vehicle, or vehicle information outputted from an in-vehicle system. The vibration generators are installed under the seating faces or inside the back of the occupant seats, or in the side wall surface of a fuel tank. The vibration generators are driven by information on predetermined contents among outside information obtained by two-way radio communication with another vehicle using radio communication equipment. The vibration generator provided in the occupant seats can be operated as speaker means producing deep bass sound in response to an audio signal of an in-vehicle audio unit. The resulting configuration enables information to be transmitted to the occupant of the vehicle by vibration given to his/her body, rather than being transmitted audibly or visually.

Disclosed is a weather information processing device that can make the users of a mobile object aware of the changes in weather conditions in various environments. The weather information processing device is mounted in a vehicle and includes a first arithmetic processing element and a second arithmetic processing element. The first arithmetic processing element intermittently measures a weather condition variable indicating the weather conditions that a vehicle is in contact with, and if the current measurement value of the weather condition variable has a deviation of a predetermined value or greater from a reference value, generates a weather change detection information indicating the deviation. The second arithmetic processing element transmits the weather change detection information to another weather information processing device mounted in another vehicle to make it output a first weather information according to the weather change detection information.

A lighting apparatus has a housing and is disposed at a lower end of a front fork of a motorcycle. Lighting apparatus for motorcycle

A vehicle lighting device is provided to maintain a viewability of light even when seen from a diagonal direction having a predetermined angle to an irradiation direction of the lighting device. The vehicle lighting device includes a board, which includes an array of a plurality of light sources. The vehicle lighting device also includes wall portions that bulge in an irradiation direction of the light sources from edge surfaces of the board. The wall portions also form a polygon surrounding the board. At least one of the wall portions includes a reflective surface on a side facing the light sources.

Vehicle lighting device

A vehicle recognition allowing device is provided which allows the recognition of a traveling state of a vehicle, including a two-wheeled vehicle to be recognized and does not require a sophisticated image processing function. When a change in the speed, traveling state or both of the vehicle is detected by a traveling state detecting part, flickering frequencies of respective infrared ray markers are increased or decreased to a frequency corresponding to the change in speed, traveling state or both. Alternatively, flickering duty ratios of the respective infrared ray markers can be changed to a duty ratio corresponding to the new speed, traveling state or both.

An electronic volume apparatus sets an amplification factor (Gamp) of a digital potentiometer in response to a requested sound volume value (Vreq) transmitted thereto from a remote controller and sends back an actual result sound volume value (Vrep) with respect to the requested sound volume value. A coordination relationship among requested sound volume values (Vreq), actual result sound volume values (Vrep) and amplification factors (Gamp) is defined in a coordination relationship storage section. A search section searches an amplification factor (Gamp) and an actual result sound volume value (Vrep) coordinated with the requested sound volume value (Vreq) received from the remote controller from within the coordination relationship storage section. A sound volume control section controls the potentiometer based on a result of the search of the amplification factor. A responding section sends back the actual result sound volume value to the remote controller.

Electronic volume control apparatus

A vehicle position detection system is provided to detect a vehicle position with higher accuracy. The vehicle position detection system includes a GPS receiving device mounted on the vehicle to receive GPS signals from a GPS satellite, a light beacon communication device mounted on the vehicle to receive light beacon information from a light beacon arranged in front of an intersection of a road, and a central processing unit mounted on the vehicle to correct a position of the vehicle based on the light beacon information upon reception of the light beacon information by the light beacon communication device.

Vehicle position detection system

A vehicle recognizing apparatus which does not require a sophisticated image processing function of a vehicle on a recognizing side and allows a recognized vehicle to be immediately and accurately recognized by a simple image processing system. A pair of first and second infrared markers on the left and right sides are, respectively, placed at a pair of left and right vehicle components. Furthermore, a third infrared marker is provided to form a virtual triangle which may be easily distinguished by a recognizing system from extraneous infrared light sources.
