A power generation body includes a first member, a second member, and a packaging body. The first member includes a first insulating film that forms a first surface. The second member includes a second insulating film that forms a second film that opposes the first surface and comes into contact with the first surface. The packaging body hermetically seals the first member and the second member. The first member and the second member are configured such that a real contact surface area between the first surface and the second surface changes according to pressure applied to the first member and the second member, and one of the first insulating film and the second insulating film is positively charged and the other is negatively charged due to the real contact surface area changing.

Power generation body

A power generation body includes a first member, a second member, and a cushioning material. The first member includes a first insulating film that forms a first surface. The second member includes a second insulating film that forms a second surface that opposes the first surface and comes into contact with the first surface. The cushioning material is arranged on a side opposite to the first surface of the first member. The first member and the second member are configured such that a real contact surface area between the first surface and the second surface area changes according to pressure applied to the first member and the second member, and one of the first insulating film and the second insulating film is positively charged and the other is negatively charged due to the real contact surface area changing.

A pneumatic tire and a method for producing the pneumatic tire, wherein the pneumatic tire includes a generally string-shaped adhesive sealant, the sealant is continuously and spirally attached at least to the inner periphery of the tire that corresponds to a tread portion, the sealant has a wider portion on at least one of the longitudinal ends thereof, and the wider portion has a width larger than that of the longitudinally adjoining portion.

The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the sealant layer being formed by continuously and spirally applying a generally string-shaped sealant to the inner periphery of a tire in the tire width direction from one side to the other, the attachment start portion of the sealant being located tire-widthwise inward from the tire-widthwise end of the sealant layer.

To provide a rubber compound for tires, a pneumatic tire and an airless tire capable of improving the steering stability of the tire while exerting excellent low fuel consumption performance. A rubber compound for tires characterized in that, of vulcanized rubber's physical properties, a complex elastic modulus E*(unit: MPa) and a loss tangent tan &#x3b4;under initial strain of 10%, dynamic strain of 2% and temperature of 70 degrees C., satisfy 90&#x3c;E*&#x3c;250, and E*/tan &#x3b4;&#x3e;800. A pneumatic tire provided with a rubber member made of the above-mentioned rubber compound. An airless tire provided with a rubber member made of the above-mentioned rubber compound. An airless tire provided in a tread ring with a shear rubber layer made of the above-mentioned rubber compound.

Rubber compound for tires, pneumatic tire, and an airless tire

Provided are a rubber composition for pneumatic tires with excellent fluidity and excellent degradation resistance, and a pneumatic tire formed from the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for pneumatic tires containing a rubber component including a halogenated butyl rubber, and an organic peroxide.

Rubber composition for pneumatic tires

Provided are a rubber composition for pneumatic tires which is excellent in adhesion, sealing performance, fluidity, and processability, and a pneumatic tire formed from the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for pneumatic tires containing, per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component including a butyl-based rubber: 100 to 400 parts by mass of a liquid polymer; 1 to 40 parts by mass of an organic peroxide; and 1 to 40 parts by mass of a crosslinking activator.

In a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire, molding of a green tire has an assembly step of bonding an inner liner and an unvulcanized rubber sheet with end portions thereof in a width direction being displaced from each other by 50 mm to 500 mm in the width direction to manufacture a laminate, cutting the laminate to have a constant length corresponding to a width of a drum to manufacture a cut sheet, and a joining step of winding the cut sheet on entire circumference of the drum such that a cut surface thereof extends in a circumferential direction of the drum and the inner liner is disposed on an inner surface side, and joining the end portions of the inner liner and joining the end portions of the unvulcanized rubber sheet such that positions of the joined end portions are displaced by a constant distance.

Method for manufacturing pneumatic tire

A pneumatic tire including an inner liner made of a polymer sheet is provided, and the polymer sheet is made of a polymer composition. The polymer composition includes a polymer component of a styrene-isobutylene-styrene triblock copolymer by greater than or equal to 5 mass % and less than or equal to 80 mass %, and a rubber component of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, isoprene rubber, and isobutylene-isoprene rubber by greater than or equal to 20 mass % and less than or equal to 95 mass %. The polymer composition includes sulfur by greater than or equal to 0.1 mass parts and less than or equal to 5 mass parts with respect to the polymer component by 100 mass parts. The polymer sheet has a thickness Tof 0.6 mm&#x3c;T&#x2264;4.0 mm.

Pneumatic tire including inner liner

A strip of a thermoplastic elastomer to be wound spirally on a cylindrical drum for forming an inner liner for a tire having a shape close to a finished sectional shape is provided. The strip is formed of composite layers of (A) a first layer made of a styrene-isobutylene-styrene triblock copolymer and (B) a second layer containing at least one of a styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer and a styrene-isobutylene diblock copolymer. The strip further has a strip main body and ear portions arranged on opposite sides thereof. The strip main body has a thickness (T) of 0.05 mm to 1.0 mm. The ear portions have a thickness (T) thinner than the thickness (T) of the strip main body and a width (W) of 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm. This ribbon-shaped strip reduces unevenness of the surface of a sheet formed by the opposite ends of the strip when manufacturing an inner liner.

Strip, method for manufacturing the same, and method for manufacturing pneumatic tire

A method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire including: (a) an assembly step of bonding the inner liner and an unvulcanized rubber sheet with end portions thereof in a width direction being displaced from each other in the range of 50 mm to 500 mm in the width direction to manufacture a laminate; (b) a cutting step of cutting the laminate to have a constant length corresponding to a width of a drum to manufacture a cut sheet; and (c) a joining step of winding the cut sheet on entire circumference of the drum such that a cut surface thereof extends in a circumferential direction of the drum and the inner liner is disposed on an inner surface side, and joining the end portions of the inner liner and joining the end portions of the unvulcanized rubber sheet.

The present invention is a pneumatic tire comprising an inner liner disposed on the inner side of the tire. The inner liner is composed of a sheet made of an elastomer composition containing a styrene-isobutylene-styrene triblock copolymer by more than or equal to 7 percent by mass and less than or equal to 93 percent by mass and an isobutylene-based modified copolymer containing a &#x3b2;-pinene component by more than or equal to 7 percent by mass and less than or equal to 93 percent by mass. In the inner liner, a ratio Gs/Gb between an average thickness Gb in a bead region Rb extending from a tire largest width position to a bead toe and an average thickness Gs in a buttress region Rs extending from the tire largest width position to a corresponding position Lu at a belt layer end is 0.30 to 0.75.
