Methods, apparatus, computer applications, and systems are provided for enabling identification of content to be compiled into a shopping application at a user device. In one embodiment, a general layout for a number of content modules to be displayed and identifying information for content to be inserted are provided from a network server to a user device, the user device then calls the appropriate content and utilizes the layout to generate a page for display to the user natively. One specific variant, activity and profile data collected at the user device via a separate application may be stored at the network and used to select content by the server.

Medium, method and apparatus for native page generation

Apparatus and methods are given for providing enhanced product recommendations. In one embodiment, products are recommended to a consumer based on information manually entered by the consumer and/or derived from data relating to the consumer obtained from a health-monitoring platform. The recommended products are provided from a recommendation engine to a human operator or curator at an item selection entity, the curator selects a predetermined number of the recommended products for delivery to the consumer. Such delivery is established by the consumer to occur periodically (such as monthly) as part of a subscription service. Product recommendations are adjusted over time to relate to customer activity and interest data accumulated from the health-monitoring platform. In one embodiment, a recommendation engine is configured to specifically tailor its recommendation algorithms based on feedback information received from the curator and/or the consumer.

Methods and apparatus for enhanced product recommendations

A method of operating a health tracking system includes utilizing user profile data for a user and health parameter data received from a health tracking device associated with the user to derive parameters relating to the user. The parameters are compared to tags associated with content pages or objects to determine a relevancy or match. Particular ones of a plurality of content pages or objects are selected for delivery to the user based on the comparison.
