A pleated filter media comprises a plurality of pleats comprised of pleat segments extending in an axial direction between first and second axial ends and extending in a transverse direction that is perpendicular to the axial direction between first and second sets of pleat tips at least partially defined by first and second sets of bend lines. Axial flow channels are defined between the pleat segments in the lateral direction and the plurality of pleats has a width in the transverse direction that varies along the axial direction.

An ice agitation system includes an adaptor and an ice agitator. The adaptor includes a disk portion and an auger mounting channel. The auger mounting channel is configured to mount to a shaft of an auger such that the adaptor rotates with the shaft of the auger. The auger mounting channel extends in a direction parallel to and offset from a center axis of a disk formed by the disk portion. The ice agitator includes a hook and an arm that extends from the hook away from the center axis of the disk. The hook is mounted to the disk.

Pre-form for exhaust aftertreatment control filter

An exhaust aftertreatment filter and method is provided for filtering engine exhaust. Varying cell size is provided to spread trapped contaminant particulate along a distribution pattern reducing heat concentration and the risk of melting during regeneration, to minimize hot-spot meltdown otherwise caused by high density concentration of trapped particulate during regeneration. Cell size is varied by varying volume and/or height and/or width and/or length. Tapering of cells is also provided to change the cross-sectional area from the upstream to the downstream end.

Exhaust aftertreatment filter with particulate distribution pattern

An exhaust aftertreatment filter is provided with localized and efficient heating for regeneration. Electrical and/or thermal conductors are wound with filter media sheets into a filter roll and/or conductors are provided at axial ends of the filter roll and/or microwave radiation is used for localized hot zone heating. Regeneration is provided at lateral slices of the filter roll lying in a plane extending transversely and radially relative to the filter roll axis.
