An integrated bill presentment and payment system and an associated method are disclosed which can accomplish the entire process of bill presentment and payment directly with billers, customers, and their respective financial institutions, but which are also capable of interfacing with independent biller service providers, independent customer service providers, independent consolidators, and/or independent payment providers. The integrated bill presentment and payment system and method of the present invention can link directly to billers and customers, and can also access and distribute billing information from third party biller service providers or consolidators and participate in the distribution of the billing information to customers through third party customer service providers and consolidators. The integrated bill presentment and payment system and method of the present invention can make payments on behalf of customers itself, and can also forward payment instructions to third party payment providers if required.

Integrated bill presentment and payment system and method of operating the same

An integrated bill management system and an associated method for use therewith are disclosed which can manage the delivery of, and handle the payments associated with, both outgoing invoices from businesses to their customers and incoming bills from vendors to the businesses. Invoices are presented to customers and payment by the customers is facilitated, and bills from the vendors are obtained and presented electronically to the businesses and paid electronically for the businesses. Invoices may be presented to the customers either electronically or in paper form, and electronic and paper payments from the customers may be processed by the system. Vendors may provide either electronic or paper bills, and payment to vendors may be processed electronically or in paper form.

Business combined bill management system and method

The present invention is a system and method for managing mail/bills from a central online location. Mail/bills are sent/forwarded to the central online location via electronically or traditional mailing service. Once the mail are received, they are sorted, and either discarded or stored in a database for further processing. The central online location further consolidates both electronic and paper formatted bills into an easily manageable and accessible manner. The subscriber can view the bills online and take appropriate action. Further, the subscriber saves time and money in not having to review unimportant mail because they are discarded in accordance with the subscriber's instructions.
