In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatus, systems and methods for implementing and using optimized control systems for aggregation of multiple broadband connections over radio interfaces. For example, such a system may include: a processor and a memory to perform instructions embodied by the system; a plurality of antennas; a traffic coordinator to interface to two or more wireless communications nodes together, through the system, in which each of the wireless communications nodes have access to a wide Area Network (WAN) backhaul connection independent of the system; a first wireless communications interface to a first wireless communication node established via a first of the plurality of antennas, the first wireless communications node having access to a first WAN backhaul connection; a second wireless communications interface to a second wireless communications node established via a second of the plurality of antennas, the second wireless communications node having access to a second WAN backhaul connection distinct from the first WAN backhaul connection; and a control module to receive information on traffic flows through the system and a radio environment within which the system operates, in which the control module to: issue commands to control the formation and continuation of connections of the first and second wireless communications interfaces to WAN connections and WAN backhaul connections, and to further provide scheduling and routing instructions for the WAN connections and WAN backhaul connections. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

Optimized control system for aggregation of multiple broadband connections over radio interfaces

Systems and methods for controlling a wireless network receive data from wireless access points within a wireless network and use the data in a model of the wireless network to identify allowable transitions between states defined by the model. Parameters for the wireless access points are adjusted to initiate transitions between the states and, based on the transitions, the model is updated.

Method and apparatus for implementing wireless system discovery and control using a state-space

A system and method for delivery of an online course, customized to a student based on captured student's actions in interacting with the course is disclosed. The actions are compared to actions of others, where the actions of others are correlated with known learning results. In part, such comparison involves tagged content and the tagging process is also a part of the present invention.

Systems and methods to assist an instructor of a course

According to various embodiments, a system for vehicular application development is disclosed. The system includes a programmable on-board diagnostics (OBD)-connected dongle for providing computational and storage resources to a vehicle and hosting one or more applications in the vehicle. The dongle is configured to utilize one or more external devices, cloud servers, and add-on modules to provide additional resources for the applications and enable control of the applications. The dongle is implemented with a middleware that enables intended operations of the dongle.

System and method for bringing programmability and connectivity into isolated vehicles

In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatuses, systems and methods for implementing wireless system discovery and control using a state-space. For example, such means may include: establishing, a communications interface between an access point optimizer and a wireless access point; identifying one or more interfering wireless nodes exhibiting electromagnetic interference upon the wireless access point; collecting data from the wireless access point; determining a model of the wireless access point and the one or more interfering wireless nodes by: (i) modeling communicative relationships and properties among the wireless access points and the one or more interfering wireless nodes exhibiting electromagnetic interference upon the wireless access point based at least in part on the data collected, and (ii) modeling an active state of the wireless access points representing a current configuration of the wireless access points having therein one or more configurable parameters for the wireless access points based at least in part on the data collected; and quantifying a change in performance of the wireless access points or the one or more interfering wireless nodes based on a state change affecting the model. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

A system for time deferred usage of mobile data by a plurality of user devices each coupled to a network server and running one or more applications. The system includes a network measurement module, user profiling module and a price-optimization computational module located at the network server and a user interface module located at each user device. The network measurement module collects traffic data from each of the applications to generate the historical congestion data and current congestion data. The user profiling module is configured to receive user reaction data and determine how much mobile data for each application may be deferred to a later point in time to generate the predicted user reaction data. The price-optimization receives the historical congestion data and the current network congestion data from the network measurement module and the predicted user reaction data from the user profiling module and generate day-ahead time-dependent price data for a plurality of upcoming timeslots of mobile data based on the historical congestion data, current network congestion, predicted user reaction data, network operator costs for data exceeding maximum network capacity and network operator costs for supplying data in less-congested time periods. The user interface receives a time interval based delay selection input for each of the one or more applications, select one or more of the upcoming data timeslots of mobile data for use by the one or more applications and delay mobile data usage by each of the one or more applications based on the delay selection input.

System and methods for time deferred transmission of mobile data

A fog network gateway includes at least one wireless communication interface, at least one cellular communication interface, and at least one wireline communication interface. The fog network gateway further includes connectivity logic configured to provide connection between a remote device and at least one local device via at least one of the wireless, cellular, and wireline communication interfaces, fog networking logic configured to form a fog network with the at least one local device for transmitting data thereto, and bandwidth aggregation logic configured to aggregate available bandwidth from at least two of the wireless, cellular, and wireline communication interfaces to ensure adequate bandwidth for data transmission between the remote device and the at least one local device. Intelligent multi-modal IOT gateway

A system and method to optimize learning efficacy and efficiency in an online course is disclosed. In particular, the methods include customizing the sequence of delivery of course content as the course is being delivered, in a way that does not necessitate upfront input from an instructor/author or anyone else, beyond what which would be provided for a standard, non-adaptive course already. The present invention is also directed to a system to implement said customization and individualization methods. The present method is further directed to a linear flow of delivered materials, but the flow is dependent upon student actions in the course, among other conditions. In the present invention, individualized adaptation is based on this input, but can be augmented with additional information provided by instructors, if desired, as well.

System and method for automated course individualization via learning behaviors and natural language processing

A system and method for pricing and exchanging content is provided, which includes a data plane formed by a peer-to-peer content sharing network or a central server allowing for client-server content transfers, and a control plane formed by a central server in communication with the data plane via the Internet. The data plane allows for the storage of digital content provided by users and the transfer of content therebetween, and the control plane provides a virtual market in which such content is sold between users using virtual currency that can be exchanged for real currency.

In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatus, systems and methods for implementing distributed wireless data sharing and control systems. Methodologies may include, for example, means for performing operations at a first wireless node having at least a processor and a memory therein, in which such operations include collecting measurements of a wireless environment at the first wireless node; determining a current configuration of the first wireless node; receiving state information from a second wireless node, in which the received state information describes a configuration of the second wireless node and further describes collected measurements of a wireless environment at the second wireless node; with the operations further including analyzing the collected measurements of the wireless environment at the first wireless node and also analyzing the state information received from the second wireless node, the analysis being used to determine one or more modifications to the current configuration of the first wireless node; adopting a modified configuration at the first wireless node by updating the current configuration of the first wireless node with the determined one or more modifications; and communicating first node state information to the second wireless node, in which the first node state information describes the modified configuration adopted by the first wireless node and the collected measurements of the wireless environment at the first wireless node. Systems methods and apparatuses for implementing distributed wireless data sharing and control systems

A system and method for delivering variable pricing of data usage to a user device operated by a user is disclosed. The system includes a server configured with a usage monitor configured to identify the user and monitor usage patterns of the user device. The server has a pricing policy engine configured to generate pricing information based on at least one of the identity of the user and the usage patterns. The pricing policy engine is configured to transmit the pricing information to the user device. The user device is configured with a usage controller having a user interface configured to receive a delay preference selection identifying at least one delay tolerant application. The usage controller is configured to receive pricing information from the pricing policy engine and to delay data usage to the delay tolerant application based on the delay preference selection and the pricing information.
