A power-operated seat device is comprised of a pair of laterally spaced lower rails for mounting on a floor of a vehicle body, a pair of upper rails slidably mounted on the respective lower rails, a screw shaft rotatably mounted to each of the upper rails, a nut member threadably mounted on the screw shaft, driving device mounted on each of the upper rails and threadably engaged with the screw shaft for moving each upper rail, and a supporting device for mounting the nut member to lower rail, the supporting device including a first bracket to which the nut member is fixedly mounted, a second bracket secured to the lower rail, and a connecting device for connecting the first bracket and the second bracket.

Power-operated seat device for vehicle

A power seat frame assembly includes a screw nut and rod assembly which is pre-assembled as a unit before being mounted on a bracket fixed to a rail for vehicle's seat. A gear box of the screw rod and nut assembly is disposed merely in a space between opposed walls on the bracket and the screw rod is received in an opening upper recess of the bracket. Thus, the arrangement of the screw rod and nut assembly on the bracket becomes easier.

Power seat frame assembly

A seat reclining apparatus is comprised of a pair of lower arms for supporting a seat-cushion, a lower plate having a first gear, a rivet for securing the lower plate to each of the lower arms after being passed through an aperture of the lower plate, a pair of upper arms for supporting a seat-back, an upper plate secured to each of the lower arms and having a second gear which is in meshing engagement with the first gear, and a shaft having a centric portion and an eccentric portion for rotatably mounting thereon the lower plate and the upper plate, respectively, wherein the rivet is formed into a stepped configuration in such a manner that the rivet has a first portion larger than the aperture in diameter and located between the lower arm and the lower plate, and a second portion larger than the first portion in diameter and located between the first portion and the lower arm, and an outer periphery of the upper plate is held between the second portion and the lower plate.

Seat reclining apparatus

A power operated seat device comprises: a pair of lower rails for fixing to a floor of a vehicle, a pair of upper rails for mounting a seat cushion of the vehicle mounted slidably on the lower rails respectively, each of the upper rails having an upstanding flange portion with a notch, a pair of brackets each of which is mounted detachably to the side of the corresponding flange portion so as to cover the notch, a rotational rod rotatably supported at both ends thereof to the corresponding bracket, a power source for rotating the rotational rod, and an adjusting the height mechanism provided between one of the upper rails and the seat cushion, and which is connected to the rotational rod and adjusts the height of a portion of the seat cushion by rotating of the rod.
