A microwave dielectric ceramic composition consisting of 15-19 mol % of barium oxide (BaO), 61-73 mol % of titanium dioxide (TiO.sub.2), 3.5-15 mol % of samarium oxide (Sm.sub.2 O.sub.3), and 1.5-15 mol % of cerium oxide (CeO.sub.2). Since this composition has a high specific dielectric constant .epsilon..sub.r and a high no load value Q, it can be used as a microwave resonator, a temperature compensating capacitor or the like.

Microwave dielectric ceramic compositions

Thermal printing device is disclosed which prints on ordinary paper using an ink which melts when heated but is solid at room temperature. The device comprises an ink-carrier with level surface which carries ink-layer formed on the surface of itself from ink-molten pool to printing position, means for rotating the ink-carrier, a cylindrical roller with linear uneven surface which is in linear contact with the ink-carrier in perpendicular direction to the lines on the surface, forming vacant ink-pool between the ink-carrier and the cylindrical roller itself, adhering the ink of ink-molten pool on the surface of ink-carrier as an ink-layer in accordance with the rotation of the ink-carrier, means for melting the ink of ink-molten pool, means for generating thermal patterns for re-melting solid ink-layer by generating thermal patterns in accordance with the printing signal at the printing position corresponding to printing paper and means for controlling the feeding of printing paper, forcing the paper to contact with the ink-carrier so that the ink patterns may be transcribed on the printing paper. By these means, the ink can controllably and adequately be solidified and melted. Thereby, the ink-layer can be evened and printing quality can be improved. In addition, the device itself can be simplified.

Thermal printing device

A pulse or stepping motor with a stator assembly and a rotor assembly has been found. The stator assembly comprises a cylindrical housing of ferromagnetic material, the first, second, third, and fourth ring shaped stators secured in said housing with some gaps between them, a pair of circular windings secured between the first and the third stators and between the second and the fourth stators respectively, the axis of said winding being identical or parallel to the axis of the pulse motor itself, each of said stators having a plurality of magnetic poles on the inner surface of the ring shaped structure, the angular duration of each magnetic pole of each stator being of uniform pitch. The rotor assembly is rotatably inserted in said stator assembly and comprises an axis, the first, second, third and fourth rotors each confronting the corresponding stators in said stator assembly, a cylindrical permanent magnet inserted between the second and third rotors so that the magnetic flux is generated in the axis direction, each rotor having a plurality of magnetic poles on the outer surface of the same, the number of magnetic poles on each rotor being the same as that on each stator, and each rotor being positioned so that the angular relationship of the magnetic poles of each rotor is staggered by 1/4 pitch of the poles.
