Methods and systems for preserving user privacy in captured content are disclosed. A device may capture content in a location. A user located at or near the location may not want to be depicted in the content. The user may be associated with a user device comprising a privacy setting (e.g., an opted-out device). The opted-out device may receive content features associated with the content. The opted-out device may determine if the user is depicted in the content by comparing the content features to a local content feature stored on the opted-out device. If the content features correspond to the local content feature, the opted-out device may determine that the user is depicted in the content. The opted-out device may protect the privacy of the user by causing the device to obfuscate the identity of the user in the content.

Preserving user privacy in captured content

Methods and systems are described for authenticating one or more parties to a communication. An example method may comprise pausing or otherwise interrupting a call based on determining the call includes a request for sensitive information from a party to the call. An identity of the party to the call may be verified and the call may be resumed based on the verification of the identity of the party to the call.

Method of authenticating a caller

Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for synchronizing physiological signals collected from two or more physiological sensors are provided. Examples of physiological signals may include respiration, heartbeat, electroencephalogram, and gastrointestinal signals. A method, an apparatus, and a computer program for synchronizing two or more physiological signals may involve collecting first data from a first sensor and second data from a second sensor, each of the first data and the second data represents a plurality of physiological signal components; extracting a common physiological signal component of the first data and the second data; correlating the common physiological signal component of the plurality of physiological signal components of the first data and of the plurality of physiological signal components of the second data; and based on the correlating, synchronizing a first physiological signal component included in the first data and a second physiological signal component included in the second data.

Synchronization of physiological data

Systems and methods for determining a query for a data store are described. A natural language text may be analyzed using heuristic processing and one or more machine learning models. Query parameters may be determined from the heuristic processing and machine learning and combined to form a query in a query language. In the heuristic processing, parsing rules may be used to remove conditional terms to generate a base question. The base question may be input to the one or more machine learning model to generate a base query which may be combined with query parameters related to the conditional terms.

Systems and methods for advanced query generation

A method, apparatus and computer program product provide data collection via a plurality of sensors, user authentication, data storage, and sensor replacement and configuration. The sensors may be integrated in or on various types of devices and/or household objects and may provide a wide range of data regarding users, use of the respective items, and/or their environments. Cost effective updates and replacements of sensors and/or devices may be provided.

Method, apparatus and computer program product for providing sensor data collection and sensor configuration

A method, apparatus and computer-readable storage medium provide information regarding changes in viewing behavior between first and second frame of a video. In a method, a plurality of objects that are included within a respective frame are identified. The method determines a first number of views of each of at least one of the plurality of objects in the first frame. For the second frame subsequent to the first frame, the method determines a second number of views of each of at least one of the plurality of objects that are in the second frame and identifies a number of instances in which a respective viewer who viewed one object within the first frame changed to view a different object within the second frame. The method additionally causes information to be provided regarding changes in viewing behavior between the first and second frame of the video.

Method and apparatus for applying video viewing behavior

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for analyzing heart rate data for a fitness or health device. In some example embodiments, there may be provided an apparatus that includes at least one processor and at least one memory including program code which when executed configures the apparatus to at least: receive, from at least one heart rate sensor, a heart rate data set collected from a subject over at least one session; filter the heart rate data set to remove at least one heart rate value failing to satisfy a predetermined duration threshold; determine a minimum heart rate value from the filtered heart rate data; and provide the determined minimum heart rate.
