Method for de-icing at least one rotor blade of a rotor of a wind power installation, wherein the rotor is able to be operated at a variable rotating speed and the wind power installation generates an output from wind, said method comprising the following steps: checking for an icing situation on the at least one rotor blade, and changing from a normal operation of the wind power installation without de-icing to a de-icing operation if an icing situation has been identified; wherein in the de-icing operation the at least one rotor blade is heated for de-icing, and the rotating speed and/or the generated output are/is reduced as a function of at least one environmental condition of the wind power installation; wherein the at least one environmental condition is selected from the list including an external temperature of the wind power installation and a wind speed in the region of the wind power installation.

Method for de-icing at least one rotor blade of a wind power installation

A wind turbine rotor blade, with a length, a rotor blade root, a rotor blade tip, a pressure side, a suction side, a leading edge, a trailing edge, and an air guide for heated air to guide heated air inside of the rotor blade and along a longitudinal direction of the rotor blade from the rotor blade root in the direction of the rotor blade tip. The wind turbine rotor blade additionally comprises at least one passively controllable air control element in the area of the air guide. The invention further relates to a wind turbine with at least one wind turbine rotor blade.

The invention relates to a method for determining the energy production to be expected for a wind power installation for a forecast time period, which may be an expected annual energy production. The installation has installation components. In the method, at least one of the installation components is selected as a thermally relevant component and chronologically distributed wind speed values are specified for the forecast time period. An expected power output level of the installation is determined for one of the wind speed values. In the power output level determining step, a component temperature which is assigned to this wind speed value is taken into account by the at least one thermally relevant component. The expected power output level of the installation, which is determined for the wind speed value, is used to determine the energy production of the installation which is to be expected for the forecast time period.

The present disclosure relates to a wind power installation having an aerodynamic rotor with at least one rotor blade, wherein the rotor blade has an active flow control device, which is designed to actively influence a flow over the rotor blade, wherein the flow control device comprises an opening in a rotor blade surface, referred to as a rotor blade surface opening, wherein the flow control device is configured to draw off and/or blow out air through the rotor blade surface opening air by way of a controllable air flow, wherein the wind power installation has a controller which is configured to control an amount of the controllable air flow through the rotor blade surface opening according to at least one of the following rules: if a rotational speed threshold value of a rotational speed of the rotor is exceeded, increasing the maximum controllable air flow successively with increasing rotational speed, if a torque threshold value of a torque of the rotor is exceeded, increasing the maximum controllable air flow successively with increasing torque.
