A 3D facies model generator system and methods thereof include a processor and repository comprising (i) facies data, (ii) sequence stratigraphy, and (iii) a depositional model for a subject reservoir. The processor is operable to generate a 3D stratigraphic sequence framework comprising a plurality of facies based on received facies data and sequence stratigraphy, generate a facies volume fraction for each facies, compare each facies volume fraction with the depositional model for the subject reservoir, reassign the facies volume fraction for the facies of the plurality of facies to another facies of the plurality of facies when the comparison determines that the facies of the 3D stratigraphic sequence framework is incorrectly assigned, generate a plurality of 3D probability trends for the plurality of facies based on the facies volume fraction for the respective facies, and generate the 3D facies model based on the 3D probability trends.

An asymmetric nanocomposite supercapacitor and a method of making the asymmetric nanocomposite supercapacitor. The modified sawdust sorbent has a higher surface area, higher organic dye adsorption capacity, and more rapid organic dye adsorption rate than unmodified sawdust. A method for organic dye removal from water includes using the modified sawdust sorbent to absorb dyes from water.

Hybrid photoactive heterojunction and method of preparation thereof

A computer system receives multiple datapoints of a geomechanical property of a hydrocarbon reservoir modeled by a three-dimensional (3D) grid. Each datapoint corresponds to a respective grid cell of the 3D grid. Each grid cell of the 3D grid is represented by 3D coordinates. For each grid cell of the 3D grid, the computer system generates a data component of the geomechanical property based on the 3D coordinates of the grid cell. The computer system adds the data component to a datapoint corresponding to the grid cell to provide an augmented set of datapoints. The computer system transforms the augmented set of datapoints into a Gaussian distribution using Gaussian approximation. The computer system simulates the geomechanical property of the hydrocarbon reservoir based on the Gaussian distribution using sequential Gaussian simulation. A display device of the computer system generates a graphical representation of the geomechanical property of the hydrocarbon reservoir based on the sequential Gaussian simulation.
