Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for guard period configuration between subband full duplex and half duplex symbols and slots. An example method that may be performed at a user equipment (UE) includes obtaining an indication of a guard period during which a cell in which the UE is communicating will switch between subband full duplex (SBFD) communications and half duplex (HD) communications; and performing one or more actions during the guard period, in accordance with the indication.

Aspects presented herein may enable a UE with an UL-CG to use resources associated with one or more UL transmissions for sidelink communications. In one aspect, a first UE transmits an indication of an UL-CG configuration including a set of periodic resources, where the UL-CG configuration corresponds to at least one allocated UL transmission for the first UE to a network node, where the indication is transmitted to at least one second UE. The first UE skips at least one UL transmission associated with the UL-CG configuration, where the skipped at least one UL transmission corresponds to a subset of the set of periodic resources. The first UE transmits a SL transmission to the at least one second UE using at least the subset of the set of periodic resources corresponding to the skipped at least one UL transmission associated with the UL-CG configuration.

Skipped uplink configured grant occasions in sidelink transmissions

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of conflict conditions for identification of conflicts between uplink feedback messages and a communication frame structure, and may receive a downlink message within a set of semi-persistent downlink resources. The downlink message may be associated with a first uplink resource for transmitting a feedback for the downlink message, where the first uplink resource is included within a subband full-duplex (SBFD) slot that includes one or more uplink subbands. The UE may then transmit the feedback message via the first uplink resource or a second uplink resource that is deferred relative to the first uplink resource based on whether feedback deferral for the downlink message is triggered in accordance with the one or more conflict conditions the second uplink resource is included within a second slot that is subsequent to the subband full-duplex slot.

Techniques for hybrid automatic repeat request deferral in full-duplex

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a grant scheduling communications during a full-duplex slot, the communications including a first communications using a first one or more resource block sets and a second communications using a second one or more resource block sets. The UE may identify, based at least in part on a time domain resource allocation field indicated in the grant, a first frequency resource for the first one or more resource block sets and a second frequency resource for the second one or more resource block sets. The UE may perform the communications during the full-duplex slot and using the first frequency resource and the second frequency resource.

Time domain resource allocation scheduling multiple transmissions across subbands

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of at least one of a configured grant or a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration. The UE may transmit or receive, based at least in part on a modification to the at least one of the configured grant or the SPS configuration, wherein the modification is based at least in part on a change from a first time domain pattern to a second time domain pattern. The UE may receive and indication of the modification from the base station. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine the medication based at least in part on at least one rule stored in a memory of the UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Modifications to configured grants and semi-persistent scheduling configurations based on time domain patterns

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Example wireless communications systems may implement control signaling configuring a user equipment (UE) to communicate in a subband full-duplex (SBFD) mode. An SBFD mode may include a non-contiguous bandwidth part (BWP), and control signaling may indicate the resource blocks (RB)s included in the non-contiguous BWP. In some cases, the non-contiguous BWP may be for communications between the UE and the network in one communications direction (e.g., uplink or downlink), and another BWP may be configured for communications between the UE and the network in the other communications direction. The non-contiguous BWP may include two subbands, and the other BWP may be non-overlapping with (e.g., positioned between) the two subbands in the frequency domain. The network may configure a BWP time domain switching pattern (e.g., switching between SBFD and half-duplex modes according to a BWP time domain switching pattern).

Non-contiguous resource blocks for bandwidth part configuration

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating one or more communication patterns from a base station. The one or more communication patterns may indicate to the UE to adjust one or more parameters for transmitting an uplink communication during a set of time resources, a set of beams, a set of ports, or any combination thereof. During the resources indicated in the one or more communication patterns, the base station may estimate a cross link interference channel between the base station and a second base station. The one or more communication patterns may indicate a hopping pattern for each subband of a bandwidth part. The base station may configure the UE with a timing advance based on the message.

Signaling for inter-base station interference estimation

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first dormancy indication and a second dormancy indication. The UE may communicate in a wireless network based at least in part on associating the first dormancy indication with a first dormancy state of a first network entity in the wireless network and associating the second dormancy indication with a second dormancy state of a second network entity in the wireless network. Dormancy indications for multiple network entities

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support dormant bandwidth part (BWP) configurations that may be used for full-duplex operation. In a first aspect, a user equipment (UE) in a full-duplex mode may, in at least one symbol, receive a downlink signal in a dormant downlink BWP and transmit an uplink signal in an uplink BWP. In a second aspect, a dormant downlink BWP may be further configured into one of multiple possible resource bandwidths (RBWs), which may include at least one dormant RBW. Each of the multiple RBWs that may be configured in the dormant BWP may be associated with a size and location as well as a set of one or more operational constraints. In a third aspect, a dormant downlink BWP may be further configured into one of multiple possible RBWs, which may include a downlink dormant RBW and an uplink dormant RBW.

Dormant bandwidth part (BWP) configuration for full-duplex operation

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a maximum number of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers for a communication based at least in part on at least one of a number of channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) ports associated with a network node, or a transition of a transmission reception point (TRP) associated with the network node to or from a dormancy state. The UE may perform the communication in accordance with the maximum number of MIMO layers. Numerous other aspects are described.

Multiple-input multiple-output layer adaptation

A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a configured grant for an uplink transmission occasion including a number of transport blocks (TBs). The configured grant indicates a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and a first quantity of layers for a first of the TBs, and a second MCS and a second quantity of layers for a second of the TBs. The method also includes selecting the first TB and/or the second TB for an uplink transmission based on an amount of data stored in an uplink buffer. The method further includes transmitting the data in the first TB and/or the second TB that was selected.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration signal indicating one or more reference signal resource sets, the one or more reference signal resource sets comprising at least a first subset of reference signal resources associated with a first reference signal switching configuration and a second subset of reference signal resources associated with a second reference signal switching configuration.
