A system includes one or more assets loaded onto or removed from a vehicle, where each asset is coupled to a wireless tag and each wireless tag wirelessly transmits beacon signals at predetermined intervals. The system includes a gateway disposed within the vehicle. The gateway includes one or more sensors that gather motion and/or vibration information. The gateway scans an area of the vehicle at a duty cycle to identify beacon signals transmitted by the wireless tags and receives the beacon signals from the wireless tags. The gateway dynamically adjusts the duty cycle based in part on the detected motion and/or vibration information and a history of previously detected motion and/or vibration information.

A system includes one or more assets loaded into and/or removed from a vehicle. Each asset is coupled to a wireless tag, and each wireless tag wirelessly transmits beacon signals at predetermined intervals. The system includes a gateway disposed within the vehicle. The gateway is configured to receive power from a vehicle power source when the vehicle is operating, and the gateway is configured to receive power from an internal battery source when the vehicle is not operating. The gateway is configured to scan an area of the vehicle at a duty cycle to identify beacon signals transmitted by the wireless tags and receive the beacon signals from the wireless tags.

A system includes one or more assets disposed within a physical location. Each asset is coupled to a wireless tag, and each wireless tag is configured to wirelessly transmit beacon signals at predetermined intervals. The system also includes a gateway configured to cover the range of the physical location. The gateway is configured to scan the physical location to identify beacon signals transmitted by each of the wireless tags and receive the beacon signals from each wireless tag at the predetermined intervals. The gateway is also configured to dynamically optimize a function of the gateway by adjusting a current total scan time based at least in part on the number of beacon signals received from previously unknown or new wireless tags disposed within the physical location.

A system includes one or more assets disposed within a physical location, where each asset is coupled to a wireless tag. Each wireless tag is configured to wirelessly transmit beacon signals at predetermined intervals. The system further includes a gateway configured to cover the range of the physical location. The gateway is configured to scan the physical location to identify beacon signals transmitted by each of the wireless tags and receive the beacon signals from each wireless tag at the predetermined intervals. The gateway is also configured to dynamically optimize a function of the gateway by adjusting a scan frequency based at least in part on a variability of the wireless tags disposed within the physical location.
