Aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a modular electronic component assembly for a battery pack. The battery pack may be implemented in a vehicle. The modular electronic component assembly may include an electrical architecture housed within a modular enclosure that is configured to be attached to a frame or housing of an energy volume of the battery pack. The electrical architecture may include components and/or circuitry configured to provide a high voltage from the energy volume to one or more high voltage connectors on the modular enclosure, and components and/or circuitry configured to provide a low voltage (lower than the high voltage) to one or more low-voltage connectors on the modular enclosure, without the use or presence of a separate low-voltage battery.

Low voltage battery-less architecture for electric vehicles

A power stage circuit with multiple bidirectional AC to DC circuits for bidirectional charging is modified to connect the power stage converters in series for DC to AC applications. The power stage circuit can covert a DC input from a DC power source of a vehicle to an AC output for a power outlet of the vehicle. The power stage circuit uses two lines with a 120 VAC at the power outlet. Using a common neutral line, the AC to DC circuits are connected together to form a split phase power output, and the 120 VAC lines are 180 degrees out of phase to create a 240 VAC source at the power outlet.

A power stage circuit for AC to DC and DC to AC applications includes an AC to DC circuit having multiple totem pole circuits. Two totem pole circuits are designed for 120 VAC and may include inductors with the same inductance values. An additional totem pole circuit is a neutral line and includes an inductor with a different (e.g., lower) inductance value. By choosing inductors with the same inductance values, the 120-VAC sources can be decoupled and separately controlled (e.g., subtracted from each other on one circuit and added together on another circuit) to provide split phase AC power for a power outlet in DC to AC applications.

Methods, circuits, and devices for power conversion are disclosed. In some embodiments, the device comprises a circuit comprising a first, second, and third leg. Each leg may comprise two switches. The first leg is switched at a first frequency to generate a first signal, and the second leg is switched at a second frequency lower than the first frequency to generate a second signal. The third leg is switched by a neutral leg control signal to generate a third signal. The circuit generates an output power signal (e.g., a split-phase power signal) based on the first signal, second signal, and the third signal.
