An electricity generation system including an electricity generating plant with a turbine, a dynamo and a solar power plant having an absorber tube for a parabolic trough solar power plant that includes a glass pipe which extends from a first end to a second end of a parabolic trough, a helical pipe enclosed within the glass pipe. A sand filled pipe is surrounded by the helical pipe. An inner pipe extends from the first end to the second end of the parabolic trough along the central axis of the glass pipe. A solenoid valve is configured to block the water from entering the inner pipe when the solenoid valve is closed and release the water to the inner pipe when the solenoid valve is opened. The turbine is fluidly connected to the solar power plant to receive the steam and produce mechanical energy which rotates the dynamo.

Solar steam electricity system

A self-operable centrifugally-activated brake system adapted for a wheeled device. The braking system includes a wheel having a hub, a rim, spokes extending between the hub and rim, and a rod extending between the hub and rim. A helical spring surrounds the rod, with a fixed end attached to the hub and a free end movable along the longitudinal direction of the rod. A brake mass structure is attached to the free end of the helical spring and includes a cylindrical pin structure. A main frame connects to the hub of the wheel. An extension structure extends from the main frame and includes a spacing segment and a hook segment having a groove configured to engage with the pin structure.

Wheelchair with emergency brake system

A method for generating electricity with a system having a water tank, an electricity generating plant and a parabolic trough solar power plant including transferring water from the water tank to the solar power plant. The water is received in a helical pipe located within a glass pipe encasing an absorber tube of a parabolic trough solar power plant. The glass pipe and the helical pipe extend from a first end to a second end of a parabolic trough along a central axis of the glass pipe an. During periods of high irradiance the water is converted in the helical pipe to steam by focusing solar radiation on the absorber tube. A sand filled pipe extends from the first end to the second end of the parabolic trough along the central axis of the glass pipe Steam is expelled from the helical pipe. During periods of low irradiance the water is released the water within the helical pipe to the inner pipe located within the sand filled pipe, converting the water to steam with the heated sand in the sand filled pipe, expelling the steam, transferring the steam to a turbine to generate mechanical energy in the turbine, and transferring the mechanical energy to generate electricity.

Method for generating electricity with solar heat pipe absorber

An absorber tube for a parabolic trough solar power plant is described. The absorber tube includes a glass pipe that extends from a first end to a second end of the parabolic trough. A helical pipe is enclosed within the glass pipe. The helical pipe is configured to hold water. A sand filled pipe is surrounded by the helical pipe. The absorber tube further includes an inner pipe, centered within the sand filled pipe and the inner pipe extends from the first end to the second end of the parabolic trough along a central axis of the glass pipe. A solenoid valve is connected between the helical pipe and the inner pipe. The solenoid valve is configured to block the water from entering the inner pipe during periods of high solar irradiance and release the water to the inner pipe during periods of low solar irradiance.

A regenerative speed bump includes a flat base portion and a sloped cover portion which together form a cavity to house a regenerative energy mechanism therein. The sloped cover portion is flexible and configured to deflect downward upon application of force. The regenerative energy mechanism includes a main gear having an axis of rotation and an inner ring of ratchets, a plunger positioned along the axis of rotation and rotates the main gear by motion thereof along the axis of rotation, and a pawl configured to allow the inner ring of ratchets and the main gear to rotate in only one direction. The plunger is mechanically connected to the sloped cover portion such that the plunger moves down along the axis of rotation when the sloped cover portion deflects downward.

Regenerative speed bump

A system for water collection and redistribution in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a storage tank for receiving water condensate from an air conditioner (AC) of the vehicle and store the water condensate. A wiper tank is positioned above the storage tank for receiving the water condensate from the storage tank. Further, a cooling coil is positioned adjacent to a radiator of the vehicle. A slanted pipe having an upper end in fluid communication with the wiper tank and a lower end in fluid communication with the cooling coil. The wiper tank discharges excess water condensate by gravity to the cooling coil via the slanted pipe to cool the radiator, when the water condensate reaches a certain level in the wiper tank.

System for water collection and redistribution in vehicle

A flexure bearing having a first sleeve and a second sleeve is provided. Each sleeve includes a first pillar having a first end attached to the sleeve and a second end projecting outwardly from the sleeve and a second pillar having a first end attached to the sleeve and a second end projecting outwardly from the sleeve parallel to and diametrically opposed to the first pillar. The flexure bearing has a plurality of blind holes and a plurality of compression springs, each compression spring having a first spring end fit into one of the blind holes of a pillar of the first sleeve and a second spring end fit into a corresponding blind hole of an adjacent pillar of the second sleeve when the second sleeve is interconnected to the first sleeve.
