Systems and methods include a method for testing in a well. Inflow packers are run into a hole in locked position downhole. A liner top diagnostic tool is run on a drill pipe to a desired depth. A lower-packer-sized ball is dropped into the well to activate a lower inflow packer assembly. A back side of the lower inflow packer assembly is pressure-tested to ensure seal integrity. The lower inflow packer is unset by withdrawing string weight while rotating the string. The drill string is displaced to test fluid to the end of the string, and weight and rotation are applied again to set the lower inflow packer. A Homer plot is established based on an inflow test. A deactivation-sized ball is dropped to deactivate the lower include packer assembly. An upper inflow packer assembly is activated using upper-packer-sized ball. A leak is identified based on testing both liner tops.

A coiled tubing system includes an injector assembly configured to receive and longitudinally move coiled tubing through the injector assembly, a well control stack operatively coupled to the injector assembly and configured to receive the coiled tubing from the injector assembly, and a snap arrestor including one or more wheels configured to rotate as the coiled tubing moves longitudinally, a tachometer that measures rotations per minute (RPM), and a microprocessor that receives and converts the RPM into a real-time measured linear speed of the coiled tubing. When the real-time measured linear speed of the coiled tubing exceeds a predetermined linear speed threshold, a command signal is sent to the injector assembly to grippingly engage the coiled tubing and thereby cease longitudinal movement of the coiled tubing.

An apparatus for obtaining fluids via a well includes an outer tubing disposed in the well and set at a shallow reservoir comprising a first fluid, and an inner tubing disposed concentrically within the outer tubing and set at a deeper reservoir further downhole than the shallow reservoir. The deeper reservoir has a second fluid, where a first packer is disposed between the outer tubing and an external tubing and disposed above the shallow reservoir, and a second packer is disposed between the outer tubing and the inner tubing and disposed above the deeper reservoir. The second packer blocks an annulus through which the first fluid is extracted via the outer tubing. The first fluid is obtained from the shallow reservoir and the second fluid is obtained from the deeper reservoir by drilling via the well.

The integral permanent bridge plug assembly includes a permanent bridge plug mounted to a cylindrical body, a setting sleeve, a bottom connection, an engagement assembly mounted to an outer diameter of the cylindrical body that is selectively extendible between a recessed position and an extended position, and a scraper including a plurality of blades and configured to engage the wellbore tubular in which the permanent bridge plug is to be set. The wellbore has a wellbore tubular having an internal diameter surface. When deployed, the integral permanent bridge plug assembly is configured to both scrape the internal diameter surface of the wellbore tubular and set an isolation barrier in a single trip into the wellbore.

A method includes positioning a casing into a wellbore. Cement is pumped through the casing to cement the casing in the wellbore. A casing hanger is positioned within a casing head spool that is part of a surface wellhead assembly at an uphole end of the wellbore. The casing hanger is attached to an uphole end of the casing. A production tubing string including a plurality of production tubing segments is positioned within the casing within the wellbore. An uphole end of the production tubing string is attached to a lower end of a rotating inner mandrel of a production tubing hanger. The production tubing hanger is configured be positioned within a tubing head spool positioned above the casing head spool within the surface wellhead assembly. The rotating inner mandrel is configured to rotate within a non-rotating housing of the production tubing hanger. The production tubing string is rotated by rotating a landing joint including a production tubing segment attached to an upper end of the rotating inner mandrel. While rotating the production tubing string, cement is pumped through the production tubing string to at least partially cement the production tubing string within the wellbore.
