The parent network node is configured to, and/or includes a radio interface and/or includes processing circuitry configured to: enable a first timing configuration, wherein the first timing configuration enables downlink transmission timing for the network node to be aligned with the downlink transmission timing of the parent network node; and based on the first timing configuration, switch to a second timing configuration, wherein the second timing configuration enables uplink transmission timing of the network node to be aligned with the downlink transmission timing of the network node.

In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving a measurement configuration(s) for performing early measurement on a carrier and performing the early measurement on the carrier in accordance with the measurement configuration(s) to provide measurement results. The method further comprises logging the measurement results along with information that indicates a status of the carrier when logging the measurement results. Method and apparatus for controlling transmission on preconfigured uplink resources in a wireless communication network

A method performed by a Network Node (NN) for handling Device to Device (D2D) operation between a first D2D User Equipment (UE) and a second D2D UE in a radio communications network is provided. The NN obtains data related to propagation delay in one or more cells served by the NN. The propagation delay is related to any one or more out of: the first D2D UE, the second D2D UE, other D2D UEs, and cellular UEs. The NN then determines whether or not to configure a number of Guard Period (GP) symbols within a switching time resource, as Sidelink (SL) radio resources for the D2D operation. The determining is based on one or more criteria applied to the obtained data related to the propagation delay.

Network node, device to device user equipment, and methods in a radio communications network

Methods performed by a wireless device and a base station for adapting maximum allowed Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) based on operational occasion periodicity are provided. In examples disclosed herein, a wireless device is configured to determine an operational occasion periodicity of a signal that is subject to CCA. Accordingly, the wireless device can determine an association at least between the determined operational occasion periodicity and a maximum number of allowed CCA failures for communicating the signal. The wireless device can then perform one or more operational tasks based on the determined maximum number of allowed CCA failures. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for validating parameters includes: obtaining information about measurement change for validating one or more parameters; obtaining information about a number of thresholds and associated thresholds used for validating the one or more parameters; and performing parameter validation based on the obtained information.
