A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a substrate including a separation area and a plurality of pixel formed over the substrate. The separation area is formed between adjacent pixels, and a plurality of through holes are respectively defined by a plurality of surrounding inner surfaces of the separation area, and wherein each of the inner surfaces passes through the substrate. The display device also includes an encapsulation layer formed over the substrate and covering the inner surfaces of the separation area.

Display device comprising sub-pixels separated by through holes and having set orientations

A display device includes a display substrate in which a plurality of sub-pixel areas is defined, a light-emitting diode ('LED') on the display substrate, a touch sensor electrode on the display substrate and including at least one touch electrode, and a bank separating the plurality of the sub-pixel areas, where each of the plurality of the sub-pixel areas may include a first area in which the LED is disposed and a second area in which the touch sensor electrode is disposed.

Display device

A display apparatus includes a display region and a peripheral region adjacent to the display region. The display apparatus further includes a first flexible substrate (FFS), a driving circuit (DC), a conductive pattern (CP), a conductive line, a light-emitting device, and a support substrate. The FFS includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface includes, in the peripheral region, a cavity extending into the FFS. The DC is on the first surface and includes at least one transistor. The CP is in the cavity and is partially exposed by the cavity. The conductive line electrically connects the CP to the DC. The light-emitting device is in the display region and is electrically connected to the DC. The support substrate is on the second surface. In a view normal to the second surface, the support substrate is spaced apart from the CP.

Display apparatus including conductive pattern in substrate and method of manufacturing the same

A flexible display device including a display panel providing a base surface and a touch screen disposed on the base surface. The display panel may include a plurality of light emitting areas and a non-light emitting area disposed adjacent to the light emitting areas. A plurality of touch electrodes and a plurality of insulating layers of the touch screen may have a mesh shape through which openings corresponding to the plurality of light emitting areas are defined. Accordingly, a flexibility of the flexible display device is improved, and the touch electrode is prevented from being cracked.

A display apparatus includes: a substrate; a light-emitting diode ('LED') disposed above the substrate; a pixel-defining layer disposed above the substrate and including a concave portion which defines a space in which the LED is disposed; a light guider disposed in the space and between the LED and a first inner side surface of the concave portion; and a light blocker disposed above the pixel-defining layer to cover a top portion of the LED. The LED is disposed a second inner side surface of the concave portion, which is opposite to the first inner side surface, and spaced apart from a center of the concave portion, and the light guider guides light emitted from the LED to a region adjacent to the second inner side surface of the concave portion.

A display device includes a display substrate including: a pixel area provided in plurality separated from each other, and a plurality of through holes separated from each other; a light-emitting diode provided in plurality on the display substrate arranged in the pixel areas thereof; and a wiring line provided in plurality on the display substrate, the wiring line including a first wiring line and a second wiring line which are each electrically connected to the light-emitting diode.

A display device includes: a substrate; a display unit on the substrate; a first inorganic layer on the display unit; a first organic layer on an upper portion of the first inorganic layer; a first dam at an edge of the first organic layer; a second dam spaced from the first dam and at an outer area of the first dam with respect to the display unit; and a stress relieving layer between the first dam and the second dam.

A display apparatus includes a display panel and a window member. The display panel includes pixels configured to display an image. The window member is disposed on the display panel. The window member includes a window substrate, polarization patterns, first electrodes, and second electrodes. The window substrate includes a first surface and a second surface. The first surface includes a first groove defined therein. The second surface faces the first surface. The second surface includes a second groove defined therein. The polarization patterns are disposed in the first groove. The first electrodes are disposed in the second groove. The first electrodes extend in a first direction. The second electrodes are disposed on the second surface and the horizontal electrodes. The second electrodes extend in a second direction crossing the first direction. The second electrodes are connected to the first electrodes.

Display apparatus and manufacturing method thereof

Provided is a display apparatus, including a substrate; a plurality of pixels that are on the substrate and include at least one display device; a separation area that is on the substrate and between two adjacent pixels from among the plurality of pixels; and a penetrating portion that is in the separation area and penetrates the substrate.
