A micro-channel reaction apparatus includes a first mixing device and a first jetting device. The first mixing device includes a first inflow channel and a second inflow channel respectively used to direct a first fluid and a second fluid into the micro-channel reaction apparatus. The first jetting device includes a first tapering portion and a first flared portion, wherein one end of the first tapering portion is connected to the first inflow channel and the second inflow channel; another end of the first tapering portion is connected to the first flared portion; and the first tapering portion has a contract ratio of inner diameter ranging from 0.1 to 0.75.

Micro-channel reaction apparatus

In one embodiment of the disclosure, a composite material with conductive and ferromagnetic properties is provided. The composite material includes: 5 to 90 parts by weight of a conductive polymer matrix; and 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of iron oxide nanorods, wherein the iron oxide nanorods are ferromagnetic and have a length-to-diameter ratio of larger than 3. In another embodiment, a hybrid slurry is provided. The hybrid slurry includes a conductive polymer, and iron oxide nanorods, wherein the iron oxide nanorods are ferromagnetic and have a length-to-diameter ratio of larger than 3; and a solvent.

A reaction device for chemical vapor deposition is disclosed. The reaction device includes a chamber, a susceptor, an inlet pipe unit and an outlet pipe. The susceptor is disposed within the chamber. The inlet pipe unit includes a plurality of feeding openings horizontally facing the peripheral area of the susceptor to input at least one reaction gas into the chamber. The at least one reaction gas is guided to move from the peripheral area of the susceptor and along a surface of the susceptor to reach the center of the susceptor. The outlet pipe includes a discharge opening whose position is corresponding to the center of the susceptor so as to discharge the reaction gas flowing to the center of the susceptor out of the chamber.

The present invention discloses a process for preparing a hydrophobic fluid containing metal oxide nanoparticles dispersed therein such as heat transfer fluids or lubricant fluids, including introducing an alkaline aqueous solution (aqueous phase) and an organic solution of an organic acid metal salt (hydrophobic phase) into a rotating packed bed, the two solutions flowing radially through the rotating packed bed under a great centrifugal force, so that the aqueous phase and the hydrophobic phase contact with each other, reactants in the two phases undergo reactions at the interface of the two phases rapidly, and thus metal oxide nanoparticles are formed. The metal oxide nanoparticles stably dispersed in the hydrophobic phase, which is nanofluid.

Process for preparing nanofluids with rotating packed bed reactor

A reactor containing a plurality of porous rotors is disclosed. A liquid sprayed in a direction from a rotating axis to the rotors is hit by the porous rotors, creating fine liquid particles, so that a mass transfer takes place between the surfaces of the liquid particles and a gas injected into the reactor, and thus a crystallization reaction is initiated. The crystallization reaction is confined by the amounts of the reactants contained in the liquid particles, and will stop as soon as one of the reactants is consumed, so that the resulting crystals can be controlled in nanometer level. The reactor of the present invention is also suitable for use in a liquid-liquid reaction, wherein two different liquids are separately sprayed in a direction from the rotating axis and hit by the porous rotors, and the resulting fine liquid particles of the two different liquids contact and react with each other, so that ultra fine particles are formed.
