Systems, methods and tools directed toward point-based license sharing mechanism that allows resource providers to dynamically control the computing resources each customer consumes by assigning point values to the license agreements between the customers and resource providers. Customers can select the amount of available points in a personalized license agreement and instead of using a 'pay as you go' model, the customer upgrades and downgrades resources and services through point transfers which convert points into the resources Using the point-based conversions, customers have greater control over each license without inadvertently spending more money than expected on resources because the resources are limited to the available points in the license agreement, unless the licenses are purposefully upgraded by user. User licenses may offer flexible options to dynamically de-provision unused or unwanted resources back into available points for reallocation of new resources that may currently be more important to the user.

Point-based license sharing

Methods and systems for a deep learning based problem advisor are disclosed. A method includes: obtaining, by a computing device, a log file including events generated during execution of a software application; determining, by the computing device, at least one possible cause for a problem in the software application using the obtained log file and a knowledge base including calling paths for each of a plurality of methods in source code of the software application; for each of the at least one possible cause for the problem, the computing device simulating user actions in the software application; and determining, by the computing device, a root cause based on the simulating user actions in the software application.

Deep learning based problem advisor

A method and system for improving a shared memory file transfer setup and usage is provided. The method includes configuring network links connected between hardware nodes. For every shared storage link, each hardware node includes a command section and a data storage section. A storage capacity for a hardware disk drive is determined based on a number of the hardware nodes and the hardware disk drive is connected to the hardware nodes. A software agent is installed within each of the hardware nodes and properties for the network links are configured. Each software agent is enabled and a connectivity status, bandwidth, and loading condition are tested for each of the network links. Each hardware node is registered with the hardware disk drive and communications between the hardware disk drive and the hardware nodes are enabled via the network links.
