A thermosensitive recording material has a support, a thermosensitive recording layer formed thereon, containing an electron-donating coloring compound, an electron-accepting compound a binder resin, and a protective layer formed on the thermosensitive recording layer, which contains an ultraviolet-curing resin and a copolymer resin containing a silicone component as a copolymerizing component.

Thermosensitive recording material

A thermosensitive recording medium capable of forming a visible image thereon when subjected to thermal printing, which has a transparent support, a thermosensitive recording layer provided on the transparent support, containing a dye and a color developer capable of inducing a color in the dye upon the application of heat thereto in the course of the thermal printing, and a mat layer, containing a granular thermosensitive recording layer, containing a granular filler and a binder resin, the mat layer having a surface smoothness of 100 to 2000 sec before subjected to the thermal printing, and a portion of the mat layer subjected to the thermal printing having a surface smoothness of 5,000 sec or less at most.

Thermosensitive recording medium

A transparent thermosensitive recording material compriser: (1) transparent substrate, (2) a thermosensitive coloring layer which is formed on one side of the transparent substrate, (3) a protective layer which is formed on the thermosensitive coloring layer and has almost the same refractive index as that of the thermosensitive coloring layer, and (4) an antistatic layer, formed on the protective layer and/or on the backside of the substrate, wherein the surface resistivity and the ten-point mean roughness of the antistatic layer are respectively smaller than 10.sup.10 .OMEGA./.quadrature. and greater than 0.2 .mu.m, and the coefficient of dynamic friction of the backside is greater than 0.2.

Transparent thermosensitive recording material

A thermal printing material having a substrate and a recording layer on the substrate, the recording layer containing a leuco compound color and a developer for developing the leuco compound color when heated, the developer comprising a compound represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein each of R1 through R8 indicates a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1-5 carbon atoms, and n indicates an integer from 6-14.

Thermal printing material for providing improved image reliabilities

A thermosensitive recording material composed of a support, a thermosensitive recording layer formed on the support, capable of producing colored images by heating, and a protective layer formed on the thermosensitive recording layer, which contains as a resin component a copolymer resin obtained by copolymerization of arylamide or methacrylamide, acrylonitrile, and a vinyl monomer having a carboxyl group, or a copolymer resin of a core-shell emulsion type obtained by copolymerization of acrylamide and/or methacrylamide in the presence of a seed emulsion of an acryl-based copolymer or methacryl-based copolymer, and as a crosslinking agent a compound having two or more alkyleneimino groups, a carbodiimide compound, a methyl ethyl ketoxime compound, or bis(.beta.-hydroxyethyl)sulfone.

A thermosensitive recording material is composed of a support, an undercoat layer formed on the support, which is essentially composed of spherical-void plastic particles having an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 .mu.m and a voidage of 80% or more, and a thermosensitive coloring layer formed on the undercoat layer, which contains a leuco dye and a color developer capable of inducing color formation in the leuco dye upon application of heat thereto.

A thermal transfer recording medium possesses an ink layer. The ink layer comprises a first thermally fusible material layer stacked on one surface of a heat resistant supporting material, at least one second thermally fusible material layer stacked on the first thermally fusible material layer, and a third thermally fusible material layer stacked on the second thermally fusible material layer. An elongation rate of the second thermally fusible material layer at 20.degree. C. is higher than the respective elongation rates of the first and third thermally fusible material layers at 20.degree. C.

Thermal transfer recording medium

A thermosensitive image transfer recording medium comprising a support material; an image transfer layer formed on the support material, comprising a fine porous network structure made of a resin comprising cellulose acetate butyrate; a non-volatile oily material which is contained in the fine porous network structure, and which does not dissolve the resin of the fine porous network structure; and a thermofusible ink composition which is held in the fine porous network structure, comprising (a) a thermofusible wax material is solid at room temperature, and (b) a colorant.

Thermosensitive image transfer recording medium

A thermosensitive image transfer recording medium comprising a support material and a thermofusible ink layer formed thereon, comprising an image gradation control agent, a coloring agent and a carrier material for holding the coloring agent at normal temperatures and to carry the coloring agent, upon application of heat, out of said thermofusible ink layer for image formation, all of which are contained in a fine porous resin structure.
