An air intake device includes: a valve body which includes a rotating shaft; a bearing member which rotatably supports the rotating shaft of the valve body; and an air intake port which includes a concave portion on which the bearing member is disposed, wherein the bearing member includes a positioning portion for positioning the bearing member with respect to the concave portion of the air intake port, facing surfaces which extend from the positioning portion along the concave portion of the air intake port and face each other in an inward radial direction of the rotating shaft with respect to the concave portion, with a gap therebetween, and protruding portions which protrude toward the concave portion of the air intake port from the facing surfaces and seal the gap.

A fluid control valve, which includes a body forming a fluid passage and including a sealing surface positioned in the fluid passage, a valve body configured to rotate between an open position and closed position within the fluid passage, an elastic sealing member provided at a rim portion of the valve body, and a lip portion extended from the elastic sealing member to be directed towards a center portion of the valve body. The lip portion contacts the sealing surface and a surface of the lip portion facing the sealing surface is exposed to the fluid passage.

An intake system of an internal combustion engine includes an engine head, a resin made intake manifold mounted at the engine head and having intake passages, the resin made intake manifold forming a receiving portion on an inner wall of each intake passage at a downstream side, and a control unit disposed at the receiving portion and including a resin made cartridge, an opening and closing valve disposed at the cartridge, and a shaft rotating the valve, wherein a clearance is provided between an inner circumferential surface of the receiving portion and an outer circumferential surface of the cartridge to allow deformation of the resin made intake manifold, and the cartridge is provided with a flange held between the engine head and the resin made intake manifold.

An intake current control valve has an open portion for passing intake currents, and has an external shape that has at least four corner portions corresponding to a shape of an intake pipe. Precise control of the amount of intake air can be accomplished if the open portion is closed, and then the amount of air leaking via the periphery of the valve is measured.
