Absorbent article suppressing occurrence of malodor after use while preventing a rash on a wearer's skin. The absorbent article includes an absorbent body, and a fumaric acid-supported sheet disposed on a skin surface side of the absorbent body. The fumaric acid-supported sheet is a sheet which supports fumaric acid particles having an average particle diameter of 30 &#x3bc;m or less, and/or a sheet in which at least a part of constituent fibers is coated with fumaric acid. When being in contact with the body fluid or the like, fumaric acid is not immediately but slowly dissolved so that alkalization at the area around fumaric acid can be prevented over a long period of time. In addition, fumaric acid has an action of inhibiting proliferation of putrefactive bacteria and, therefore, can prevent occurrence of malodor from the absorbent article having absorbed the body fluid or the like.

To provide an absorbent body and an absorbent article having excellent deodorization effect. The present invention provides an absorber comprising, a crosslinked polymer mainly composed of acrylic acid and having carboxyl groups thereof being at least partially neutralized as a water-absorbent resin powder, and an antibacterial cationic surfactant, wherein the antibacterial cationic surfactant is a compound neutralized with an acid having an acid dissociation constant pKa in water at 25 degrees centigrade in a range from 3.0 to 5.5.

Absorber and absorbent article using the same

An objective of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article having an excellent absorption speed of body fluid and excellent dryness after absorbing body fluid. The absorbent article of the present invention comprises: an absorbent body where a water absorbent resin powder meeting the following requirements (a) to (c) is disposed, (a) an absorption speed measured by a vortex method: 20 seconds to 50 seconds, (b) a liquid passing speed under load: 10 seconds or less, (c) a moisture absorption blocking ratio: 5% or less; and a diffusion layer composed of a synthetic fiber assembly substantially having no water absorption.

To provide an absorbent article that has a high absorption speed, is unlikely to cause a liquid to remain on a skin-contacting surface, has excellent dry feeling, and is unlikely to cause excreted body fluid to return. The present invention provides an absorbent article comprising an absorber composed of at least one absorbent layer, wherein a water-absorbent resin powder meeting the following requirements (a) to (d) is disposed in an uppermost layer of the absorber: (a) a bulk density: 0.45 g/ml to 0.62 g/ml; (b) an absorption speed by a vortex method: 20 seconds to 50 seconds; (c) a liquid-passing speed under load: 10 seconds or less; and (d) a moisture absorption blocking ratio: 5% or less.

Absorbent article containing a water-absorbent resin powder

[Object] To provide an absorbent article and an absorbent body having excellent absorption performance. [Solution] The present invention provides an absorbent body having at least two or more layers, the absorbent body comprising: a water absorption layer having a water absorption region where a water absorbent resin powder is disposed and a thickness-direction-penetrating opening region; and a layer having a diffusion region where a diffusibility improvement material having an under-load liquid passing rate of 15 seconds or less is disposed, as a lower layer of the water absorption layer, wherein the lower layer has the diffusion region disposed at least a part of a portion located below the opening region.

Absorbent body and absorbent article using the same

An objective of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article exhibiting excellent absorption speed of body fluid and dryness after absorbing body fluid, even in the case of absorbing body fluid repeatedly. The absorbent article of the present invention comprises: a water absorption layer where a water absorbent resin powder meeting the following requirements (a) to (d) is disposed, (a) a bulk density: 0.45 g/ml to 0.62 g/ml, (b) an absorption speed measured by a vortex method: 20 seconds to 50 seconds, (c) a liquid passing speed under load: 10 seconds or less, (d) a moisture absorption blocking ratio: 5% or less; and a diffusion layer disposed below the water absorption layer and including a cellulose acetate fiber.

Each of first fastening tapes and second fastening tapes provided on both left and right sides of a disposable diaper has a first fastening part and a second fastening part which are away from each other. When putting the disposable diaper on a slender wearer, the second fastening tape is fastened on an attachment part of main body part so as to be laid over the first fastening tape. In the second fastening tape, since an intermediate area is provided between the first fastening part and the second fastening part, a total area of fastening parts can be reduced. Since a distance between an outer edge of the first fastening part and an inner edge of the second fastening part is made larger than a width of a tape base at the intermediate area in the first fastening tape, the second fastening tape can be easily fastened.
