Provided is an illumination device capable of preventing a reflection sheet in the periphery of a light-emitting element from being raised while minimizing the instability in the fixture of a diffusion lens. The illumination device comprises a light-emitting element, a mounting substrate, a diffusion lens, and a reflection sheet having a through-hole. The diffusing lens includes a lens portion for diffusing light, and a fixed portion to be fixed to the mounting substrate. An engaging portion that sandwiches the reflection sheet between the engaging portion and the mounting substrate is formed in the fixed portion.

The present invention makes it possible to (i) obtain a sufficient and uniform luminance on an entire surface, which is irradiated with light, of a light guide plate and (ii) achieve a reduction in cost. LED light source substrates () and () are each configured to emit light having a first luminance gradient on an edge of a range, to be irradiated with light, which first luminance gradient is smaller than a second luminance gradient of light having a substantially uniform luminance on an entire range to be irradiated with light.

Unevenness in brightness of a plane light source is controlled to improve a display quality of a plane light source. An LED module comprising one or a plurality of light source sections with a high brightness peak value and a large light and dark contrast difference, and an LED module comprising one or a plurality of light source sections with a low brightness peak value and a small light and dark contrast difference, are alternately arranged. The one or the plurality of light source sections comprise a white resist arranged on a substrate region around LED, as a reflection material. The light source section with a large brightness peak value and a large light and dark contrast difference, and the light source with a low brightness peak value and a small light and dark contrast difference, are formed by the difference in a reflection rate of the white resist.

In an LED light bulb, an LED module and a lens are disposed on a fixing stage provided to a housing. The lens has a concave portion at its top end. The concave portion forms a reflecting surface which reflects part of outgoing light from the LED module to (i) first directions perpendicular to a front emission direction of the outgoing light or (ii) second directions leaning to a cap beyond the first directions. Due to diffusion effect of an optical cover, part of the light reflected by the lens is emitted backward (toward the cap). This realizes an LED light bulb that distributes light over an entire circumference and has high output as well as high light output ratio.

A C element controls a pipeline register and successively transfers data packets. When a dead-lock state occurs, a data packet in the pipeline register is erased by a master reset signal, a host transfer flag operating circuit overwrites a data packet in the pipeline register so that it has a host transfer flag at the 'H' level, and thereafter, when the host transfer flag is detected in the subsequent stage, the data packet is transferred to the host.

When an instruction decoder decodes an instruction code included in packet data, a copy flag and copy number information are provided to a self-synchronous transfer control circuit. In the self-synchronous transfer control circuit, when a data transfer enabling signal is applied from a C element in a subsequent stage, a node number manipulation circuit manipulates a node number to make copies such that packets can be distinguished from each other, and then data is transferred from a pipeline register to a pipeline register in a subsequent stage.

A data-driven type information processing apparatus includes at least a paired data generating unit, a memory control unit, and data memory. The memory control unit includes a pipeline register receiving a data packet output from the paired data generating unit, including a page address, a set value for setting an effective bit and data, and an address generating unit for generating an address for accessing the data memory by retrieving effective data from the data included in the data packet based on the set value and attaching the page address included in the data packet to the retrieved effective data.

Data-driven type information processing apparatus and information processing method allowing for effective use of memory

A data driven type processing device has an error diffusion computing unit built therein. An error holding register is provided within the error diffusion computing unit, and is used to successively store and update a value of error information of a pixel that is to be diffused to a neighboring pixel being processed continuously. An error data memory is provided outside the computing unit, and is used to store and update a value of the error information that is to be diffused to another neighboring pixel being processed discontinuously. The error information and the values to be diffused are stored in a packet, and the packet is circulated for operation.

A data packet, having a flag for determination of its processing content, a tag field and a data field, is sequentially transferred between pipeline registers according to pulses from C elements. A determination is made as to whether the tag field of the data packet includes information identical to that pre-stored in a tag field of a register within a processing content determination unit. Based on the determination result, the data packet is processed according to the information stored in a processing content determination field of the register.

Data driven information processing apparatus

An input port receives input data X, generates input packets by adding generation numbers and node numbers indicative of prescribed destinations, in the order of reception, and in addition, generates a data packet from a separately input clock signal. The input data packet is written to an image memory using the generation number in the packet as an address signal, or read from the image memory using the generation number in the data packet as an address signal. Operation is performed in accordance with the input data packet or the data packet read from the image memory by a memory interface, and the processed data packet is output to the outside of a data driven engine, a memory interface or a data driven type processor.
