A webbing winding device includes a spool, a sensor lever, and a solenoid. The sensor lever is displaceable between the first position and the second position. In a state where the sensor lever is disposed at the first position, the rotation in the drawing-out direction of the spool is enabled, and in a state where the sensor lever is disposed at the second position, the rotation in the drawing-out direction of the spool is locked. When the solenoid is actuated, a part of the sensor lever is attracted and the sensor lever is displaced from the first position to the second position. The center of gravity of the sensor lever is set so that the sensor lever is displaced toward the second position when negative acceleration with respect to the direction in which a part of the sensor lever is attracted to the solenoid is generated in the sensor lever.

Webbing winding device and vehicle seat

In the webbing winding device, the rotation of the output shaft of the motor is transmitted to the spool via the first gear train. In this state, when the rotation speed of the spool decreases and the rotation of the slider base of the first clutch decreases, the coupling pawl of the second clutch is pressed by the slider provided on the slider base to mesh with the ratchet gear, and the rotation of the output shaft of the motor is transmitted to the spool via the second gear train.

Webbing winding device

A control device for a seat belt of a vehicle includes a retracting unit configured to retract the seat belt, a departure detection unit configured to detect a departure of the vehicle from a lane; a vehicle speed sensor configured to measure a vehicle speed; and an electronic control unit configured to operate the retracting unit when both a first condition and a second condition are satisfied. The first condition is a condition that the departure detection unit detects the departure of the vehicle from the lane, and the second condition is a condition that the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than a prescribed speed, and the electronic control unit is configured not to operate the retracting unit when the first condition is satisfied and the second condition is not satisfied.

Control device for seat belt of vehicle

A control device for a vehicle seat belt, includes: a retraction unit that is configured to retract a seat belt through use of a driving force of a motor and to stop retracting the seat belt when the motor is stopped from being driven; an acceleration measurement unit that is configured to measure an acceleration of a vehicle; a state detection unit that is configured to detect whether or not the vehicle is in a stable state while running; and a control unit that is configured to stop driving the motor when the acceleration measured by the acceleration measurement unit during driving of the motor has remained lower than a first set acceleration for at least a first set time and the vehicle has remained in the stable state detected by the state detection unit for at least a second set time.

Control device for vehicle seat belt

A seatbelt system includes a take-up device configured to take up a seatbelt, and an electronic control unit configured to, when any one of first and second conditions is satisfied, cause a motor to take up the seatbelt. In the first condition, after occurrence of a collision whose physical quantity detected by a detector configured to detect the physical quantity associated with a magnitude of the collision is less than or equal to a first threshold, the physical quantity decreases to less than or equal to a second threshold. In the second condition, after occurrence of a collision whose physical quantity is less than or equal to the first threshold, a first predetermined time elapses, which is estimated to be equivalent to a decrease in the physical quantity to less than or equal to the second threshold.

An occupant restraint system for a vehicle includes: a seat belt device configured w restrain an occupant seated on a vehicular seat with a webbing, in which one end of the webbing is wound around a winding device and the other end is fixed to one of the vehicular seat and a vehicle body, and the seat belt device is configured so that a motor provided in the winding device is driven to wind the webbing; and an electronic control unit configured to drive the motor so that a prescribed amount of the webbing is wound, when a first condition is satisfied.

Occupant restraint system for vehicle

An increase in structural complexity is suppressed in a webbing take-up device provided with a force limiter load switching mechanism and a pre-tensioner mechanism. The webbing take-up device includes a spool that takes up a webbing, a pre-tensioner mechanism that takes up the webbing onto the spool by rotating the spool in the take-up direction in a vehicle emergency, and a lock mechanism that restricts pull-out direction rotation of the spool in a vehicle emergency. The webbing take-up device further includes a force limiter mechanism that permits pull-out direction rotation of the spool at a force limiter load or greater when the lock mechanism has restricted pull-out direction rotation of the spool, and a force limiter load switching mechanism that switches a force limiter load value by being input with a portion of an actuation force that actuates the pre-tensioner mechanism.

Webbing take-up device

A webbing take-up device includes a spool that takes up a webbing worn by an occupant, and that is rotated in a pull-out direction due to the webbing being pulled out, and a lock base that limits pull-out direction rotation of the spool in a vehicle emergency. The webbing take-up device further includes an energy absorbing wire that undergoes deformation so as to permit pull-out direction rotation of the spool at or above a force limiter load when the lock base has limited pull-out direction rotation of the spool, and a second force limiter mechanism that adjusts the pressing force of the energy absorbing wire according to a remaining take-up amount of the webbing on the spool.

A webbing take-up device includes a spool, a lock base that restricts pull-out direction rotation of the spool in a vehicle emergency, and a linear energy absorbing wire that deforms so as to permit pull-out direction rotation of the spool at or above a force limiter load when the lock base has restricted pull-out direction rotation of the spool. The webbing take-up device further includes a housing with which the energy absorbing wire engages along a radial direction inside face of the housing, and a winder section provided at a radial direction inside of the housing. The winder section is capable of rotating together as a unit with the spool, and takes up the energy absorbing wire by being rotated. Moreover, a wire guide and a lever are provided between the winder section and the housing. The wire guide and the lever pinch and deform the energy absorbing wire.

An occupant protecting device for a vehicle, including: a pretensioner applying tension to a webbing that is configured to restrain an upper body of a vehicle occupant seated in a vehicle seat; a vibrating unit configured to vibrate a contact portion to which the vehicle occupant contacts; a single operating section operating the vibrating unit in a case in which an instruction to operate the vibrating unit is received, and operating the pretensioner in a case in which an instruction to operate the pretensioner is received; and a control section, in a case in which the vibrating unit is to be vibrated, outputting an instruction to vibrate the vibrating unit to the operating section, and, in a case in which the pretensioner is to be operated, outputting an instruction to operate the pretensioner to the operating section.

Occupant protecting device for vehicle

In a webbing take-up device, a base cartridge receives pressure of gas generated by an MGG, load from a piston that is moved by the pressure of the gas, and reaction force acting on the MGG when gas has been ejected from the MGG. This enables strength retention with respect to the above-described pressure, load, and reaction force to be simplified.

In the present pretensioner, press contact portions are formed further to a side of an open end of a packing housing section than central portions of opposing faces along a depth direction of the packing housing section. Accordingly, when a packing is being fitted into the packing housing section, no great resistance is imparted to a curved face side of the packing from a press contact wall of a housing section body and the opposing face, and the packing is fitted comparatively smoothly therein. Consequently, even when fitting the packing into the packing housing section, a packing main body is largely resilient-deformed, such that a large collapse in a through hole can be prevented, and the sealing ability of the seal due to deformation of the packing main body can be effectively enhanced.

Pretensioner

In the pretensioner, a guiding wall is provided in a generator-side passing portion of a gas passing portion, and an inner portion of the generator-side passing portion at a portion where the guard wall is set is located to a base end rather than a tip end of a wire protective cylinder. Further, a gas generator mounting hole and the generator-side passing portion is inclined to be directed the base end of the wire protective cylinder. For this reason, gas that is jetted from a gas generator is blown to the base end of the wire protective cylinder or a surrounding portion thereof. As a result, even though the thickness of the wire protective cylinder is not set to be large, it can be against pressure of the blown gas.
