Provided is a rotating electric machine capable of suppressing an increase in temperature of an output terminal () to suppress a temperature rise of an internal device, and preventing lowering of a force for fastening the output terminal and a terminal portion of an external device. The rotating electric machine for a vehicle includes a rectifier provided inside a casing, and a terminal device projecting outward through an opening portion of the casing to connect the internal device and the external device. The terminal device includes the output terminal () projecting outward through the opening portion to be connected to the terminal portion of the external device by fastening, and a resin body () having electrical insulating property and high thermal conductivity, for integrally covering the output terminal () except at least for a portion to be connected to a harness-side terminal ().

Rotating electric machine

An object of the present invention is to provide a rotary electric machine that can improve the reliability of a connection terminal by preventing brazing material applied to butting portions of the connection terminal from flowing out. The rotary electric machine according to the present invention has, on at least one of the inner and outer circumferences of a hole portionof a connection terminal, a groove portion, orthat can prevent brazing materialfrom flowing out from between butting portions, thereby solving a problem that a crack occurs on the connection terminal upon fusing of the connection terminal and a lead conductive wire.

A brush holder device of a vehicle AC generator includes: a regulator circuit that adjusts magnitude of an AC voltage generated in a stator; a base that is attached within a rear bracket and formed by integrally molding a brush holder portion having a brush insertion hole and holding a brush within the brush insertion hole and a regulator circuit housing portion in which the regulator circuit is housed and held; a cap that is made of resin and has sufficient elasticity to close the brush insertion hole; and a plate that is made of metal, integrally has the cap made of resin, and is attached to the brush holder portion.

Provided is a brushless alternator for preventing water from penetrating further inside through a gap between a distal end portion of a spool and a concave portion of a bracket. According to the brushless alternator of the present invention, a rotor includes: a rotor main body; and a coil body () fixed to a rear bracket (). The coil body () includes: a bobbin (); a field coil (); a yoke portion () of a second magnetic pole, the yoke portion () having one lateral surface being in close contact with a lateral surface of the bobbin () and another lateral surface being bonded to the rear bracket (); a spool () provided on an inner circumferential surface of the yoke portion () and an inner circumferential surface of the bobbin (); and a rubber bush () provided to a projecting portion () at a distal end of the spool (). The rubber bush () is fitted into a concave portion () formed at a portion of the rear bracket (), the portion being opposed to a distal end surface of the spool ().

Brushless alternator

A brushless alternator includes: a rotor mounted on a shaft; a ring-shaped yoke which is opposed to the rotor via a very narrow radial clearance; a stepped portion provided on a side surface of an inner circumference of an axial end section of the yoke; a plate fixed to the stepped portion and having a cylindrical portion made of a magnetic material; a bobbin provided so as to surround a radially outer side of the cylindrical portion of the plate for the purpose of winding a field coil therearound; and a stator provided with a clearance retained on an outer side of the rotor, wherein a radial thickness of a part of the cylindrical portion which is fixed to the stepped portion provided on the inner circumferential surface of the yoke is set larger than 1 mm and not larger than 2 mm.

An annular stepped portion is formed at a first end of an inner circumferential surface of a thick ring-shaped second yoke portion, a second axial end portion of a cylindrical portion of a plate is fitted inside so as to overlap with the stepped portion in a radial direction, and the cylindrical portion of the plate is integrated with the second yoke portion by welding in the radially-overlapping region.

Brushless alternator field coil bobbin apparatus

A dynamoelectric machine can achieve cost reduction by omitting the formation of grooves on an outer peripheral surface of an outer ring () of a bearing (), and it can also prevent creeping of the bearing (), thereby suppressing damage to a bearing housing (). A resin case () is formed in the shape of a cylinder so as to cover the entire axial length of the outer ring () of the counter-driving side bearing (), and slits () are formed in the resin case () so as to extend axially from one axial end thereof to the other axial end thereof. The resin case () is press-fitted into the counter-driving side bearing housing () with the one axial end of the resin case () being located at an opening side of the counter-driving side bearing housing (). The counter-driving side bearing () is press-fitted into the resin case ().

A casting mold which enables an article to be molded by replacing only a specification-variable mold component for molding a section of the article when the specification of only that particular section has been modified, thus permitting reduced manufacturing cost of the molding. The casting mold is used for casting a rear bracket 85 a mounting leg 10 which is subject to changes in specification and a component housing 9 which is combined with the mounting leg into one piece. It is equipped with a main body mold 40 for molding the component housing and a specification-variable mold 41 which is detachably connected to the main body mold, which can be replaced according to specifications, and which molds the mounting leg.
