An antistatic molded resin article based on polyesteramide has a low resistivity even when a substantive amount of electrically conductive additive is not used. The molded article is prepared by copolymerizing (a) a cyclic amide and (b) linear ester selected from polyesterpolyol, polyesteretherpolyol or polycarbonatepolyol. The surface resistivity is less than 10 &OHgr;.

The surface resistivity is less than 10 &OHgr;.
