A photographic processing apparatus includes a replenisher supplying mechanism for forcibly supplying a remaining portion of a replenisher if the replenisher remains in a replenisher container or pack when the processing of a predetermined quantity of photosensitive material has been finished and a controlling mechanism which displays an abnormality message on a display if the forcibly supplied quantity of replenisher has exceeded a predetermined quantity. If it is detected that the replenisher pack has become empty before the processing of the predetermined quantity of photosensitive material is finished, the abnormality message is displayed. If all the quantities of replenishers forcibly supplied from a plurality of replenisher packs are not more than predetermined quantities, only a message for replacing the replenisher packs is displayed. If the quantity of replenisher forcibly supplied from one of the replenisher packs is not more than the predetermined quantity, and if the replenisher pack has become empty before the processing of the predetermined quantity of photosensitive material is finished, both the abnormality message and the replace message are displayed. It is thus possible to ascertain the timing of replacing a replenisher pack not provided with a level sensor and to ascertain the state of a replenisher pump.

Photographic processing apparatus

A photosensitive material processing apparatus includes a drying device for drying with drying air a photosensitive material processed with processing solutions; a waste-solution recovering section, having an absorbing material, for recovering waste solutions of the processing solutions discharged from a plurality of processing tanks due to the absorbing material being impregnated with the waste solutions; and a waste-solution drying device having a duct for introducing warm air from the drying device into the waste-solution recovering section and adapted to dry a recovered waste solution. Since the waste solution is dried by the waste-solution drying device after recovery of the waste solutions of the processing solutions, intervals of maintenance provided for the waste-solution recovering section are extended, and the operating efficiency in waste solution processing is improved.

Photosensitive material processing apparatus

An automatic processing apparatus is provided to sequentially dip photosensitive material into a plurality of processing solution tanks storing processing solution while conveying the photosensitive material to process the photosensitive material. Rollers are respectively provided between two adjacent tanks of the plurality of processing solution tanks so as to convey the photosensitive material to a downstream processing solution tank of the two adjacent tanks. A replenishing solution supply apparatus is provided to supply replenishing solution into the plurality of processing solution tanks, respectively. A diluting water supply apparatus is provided in the vicinity of rollers to respectively supply the plurality of processing solution tanks with diluting water for diluting the replenishing solution to a predetermined concentration. The rollers can be washed by the diluting water to be supplied to each of the plurality of processing solution tanks.

Automatic processing apparatus

A drying device for an automatic developing apparatus has a plurality of far infrared radiant heaters and fans provided in a squeezing portion, which is located between a processing area for a processing liquid and a drying area, for drying a film in accordance with a predetermined drying control pattern, in a constant-rate drying area until the film reaches a drying point. When the film is conveyed into the drying area, the film is dried by the plurality of far infrared radiant heaters and fans positioned in a first drying portion until the film moves from the constant-rate drying region to a predetermined decreasing-rate drying region. When the film is conveyed from the first drying portion to a second drying portion, a rate of change of a surface temperature of the film with respect to the drying time until the film reaches the drying point is maintained at a constant value. Thus, the drying process is completed without unsatisfactory drying and inconveniences such as drying marks. This permits the drying time of the film to be reduced, and permits the film to be dried optimally without unsatisfactory drying.
