An image recording and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing a multiple picture signal obtained by multiplexing picture signals from a plurality of cameras via a frame switcher, the image recording and reproducing apparatus performing high-accuracy fast-forwarding of a prerecorded image from a specific camera and allowing easy retrieval of a target image. Image recording and selective reproducing apparatus

Plural security units are coupled to plural control units through a communication line including transmission and response lines. Each control unit detects data collision on the transmission line to avoid the data collision. Re-transmission interval is independently assigned to each control unit. If the command to or from a security unit in charge of this control unit is received, the control unit rewrites the conditional data of the security unit in accordance with the detected command. The control (security) unit further includes a transmission (response) line monitoring portion, so that bi-directional communication is provided in addition of the response (transmission) line monitoring portion. Address data is classified to provide all unit communication, a group communication, and independent communications.

Security system

In a network surveillance unit, a video input unit inputs image information output from a video output device such as a camera or a switcher. A coded image storage unit codes and accumulates the image information. An alarm management unit detects the presence or absence of alarm generation from an alarm generating device, and stores the alarm information. A communication unit receives a request from a display terminal through a network, and transmits the coded image accumulated in the coded image storage unit or the alarm information accumulated in the alarm management unit according to the request.

Network surveillance unit

In a monitoring device, a camera controller controls each of cameras, a display controller controls at least one display to show thereon a picture taken by at least one of the cameras to be monitored by an operator and controls a picture recorder to record the picture therein, and a condition data recording controller controls a recording of at least one of a condition data of the at least one of the cameras while taking the picture and a condition data of the display while showing the picture, into a condition data memory device.

Apparatus for monitoring

An integrated security system includes a plurality of security devices each issuing an alarm signal. A plurality of control units are associated to control the security devices via a communication line. Each security device comprises an alarm storing section for storing alarm signals received from individual security devices as alarm information. An alarm transmitting section transmits the alarm information to all of the control units via the communication line. The alarm information stored in the alarm storing section during a predetermined storage time are transmitted at a time as an alarm notification command to the control units.

Integrated security system comprising a plurality of remote-controllable security devices and associated control units

A bi-directional video signal transmission system is equipped with transmission lines having coupled upsteam and downstream segments. With the entire band of a RF signal being taken as a modulation frequency band, an image signal modulated to a frequency band and RF-multiplexed in the upstream segment is introduced into the downstream segment at the modulated frequency and is then branched to demodulate the same frequency band, thereby obtain one video signal transmission channel. In response to a request by a subscriber, a channel management section assigns and releases the transmission channels and further outputs a control command whereby a transceiver control section performs switching-control of the transmission frequencies to transceiver units.
