A pyrolyzed coal quencher includes: a first water spray tubethat sprays water on pyrolyzed coal having a temperature of 300&#xb0; C. or more obtained after pyrolyzing coal; a first cooling tubethat performs indirect cooling on the pyrolyzed coal obtained after spraying water by the first water spray tubeto a temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or more; a second water spray tubethat sprays water on the pyrolyzed coal cooled by the first cooling tubesuch that the pyrolyzed coal has a desired water content; and a second cooling tubethat performs indirect cooling on the pyrolyzed coal cooled by the first cooling tubeto a desired temperature of less than 100&#xb0; C. Thus, the pyrolyzed coal can be promptly cooled and adjusted to a desired water content.

Pyrolyzed coal quencher, coal upgrade plant, and method for cooling pyrolyzed coal

A coal upgrade plant includes: a dryerthat dries coal; a pyrolyzerthat pyrolyzes the coal dried by the dryer; a quencherthat cools the coal pyrolyzed by the pyrolyzer; a finisherthat deactivates the coal cooled by the quencher; and cyclonesandthat collect pulverized coal generated from the coal, wherein the pulverized coal collected by the cyclonesandis fed to an absorber fed to a scrubberthat treats a flue gas. Thus, the mercury generated from the coal upgrade plant can be removed.

Coal upgrade plant and method for manufacturing upgraded coal

A coal upgrade plant includes: a dryerthat heats and dries coal before pyrolyzing the coal; a scrubberthat treats a carrier gas discharged from the dryerwhile catching a desorbed component desorbed from the coal when the coal is dried by the dryer; a waste water treatment equipmentthat treats waste water collected from the scrubber; and the scrubberthat uses recycled water treated in the waste water treatment equipment. Thus, water supplied to the coal upgrade plant from outside can be reduced as much as possible.

A wet type flue-gas desulfurization apparatus includes a desulfurization apparatus main body; a gas introducing unit that is disposed on a side wall of the desulfurization apparatus main body and that introduces a flue gas; an absorbent accumulating unit that accumulates an absorbent which has absorbed the sulfur oxide present in the flue gas; a circulation line that circulates the absorbent from the absorbent circulating unit; a spray pipe that is disposed in the vicinity of the middle portion of the desulfurization apparatus main body and that sprays the absorbent, which is circulated in the circulation line, as a spray liquid from a nozzle; an ORP meter that measures the oxidation reduction potential of the absorbent; and an oxidation resistant pipe group that, in the vicinity of the interface of the absorbent present in the absorbent accumulating unit, cushions a falling liquid falling from an absorber of the absorbent.

Wet type flue-gas desulfurization apparatus and method for adjusting oxidation reduction potential of absorbent therefor

A wet type exhaust gas desulfurization apparatus includes an absorption tower desulfurizing exhaust gas by causing the exhaust gas to come into gas-liquid contact with an absorbent, a spray mechanism spraying the absorbent into the tower, an oxidization mechanism provided in a bottom portion of the tower and supplying oxygen to the absorbent that accumulates inside the tower, a circulation mechanism feeding the absorbent from a discharge port formed in the bottom portion of the tower, to the spray mechanism, and a liquid ejection mechanism including a hydraulic nozzle ejecting liquid into the tower. In this apparatus, the oxidization mechanisms are provided with an interval in a horizontal direction relative to the discharge port. Furthermore, in the apparatus, the hydraulic nozzle is installed in the bottom portion of the tower and is provided at a location between the oxidization mechanism and the discharge port.

Wet type exhaust gas desulfurization apparatus

There is provided an exhaust gas treatment system including a COrecovery unit with further enhanced energy efficiency. The exhaust gas treatment system () includes: a COrecovery unit () including a COabsorption column (), an absorbing solution regeneration column (), a condensate supply pipeline () for supplying condensate, which contains COabsorbing solution discharged from the COabsorption column () to a bottom portion of the absorbing solution regeneration column (), and a COseparation section () for performing heat exchange, via a heat exchanger (), between the COdischarged from the absorbing solution regeneration column () and the condensate; and an exhaust gas heat exchanger () provided on a gas upstream side of the COrecovery unit () for performing heat exchange between exhaust gas before flowing into the COrecovery unit () and the condensate.

Exhaust gas treatment system

A method of using condensed water produced in a desulfurization apparatus includes the steps of: bringing a gas to be treated, containing a sulfur dioxide and a desulfurization absorption liquid, into contact with each other to absorb and eliminate the sulfur dioxide from the gas to be treated; cooling a desulfurized gas obtained by the elimination of the sulfur dioxide to produce condensed water from the desulfurized gas; and washing the desulfurization apparatus with the condensed water. In the step of washing the desulfurization apparatus, an inlet for introducing the gas to be treated into the desulfurization apparatus may be washed with the condensed water, and a mist eliminator for eliminating the desulfurization absorption liquid accompanying the desulfurized gas from the gas may be washed with the condensed water.
