In inter-cell mobility, the association between the CORESET and the TRP may be dynamically updated by L1/L2 beam switch signaling, which may cause RRC reconfiguration latency. To address the latency issue, a UE, in one aspect of the disclosure: (1) receives, from a cell, a configuration of a CORESET and a configuration of a set of TRPs; (2) receives, from the cell, an index indication of an index for the CORESET; and (3) determines, based on the index indication, a TRP in the set of TPRs to be associated with the CORESET.

Associating transmission reception point with control resource set

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for calculating and reporting channel state information (CSI) for time division multiplexed (TDM) based multiple transmission reception point (mTRP) transmissions.

CSI reference resource for TDM based multiple transmission reception transmissions

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling identifying a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration for the UE, the SRS configuration indicating at least a SRS comb offset hopping configuration. The UE may select, based at least in part on the comb offset hopping configuration, a hopping pattern for SRS transmissions across multiple SRS transmission occasions, the hopping pattern comprising a different comb offset applied for each SRS transmission occasion. The UE may transmit the SRSs across multiple SRS transmission occasions according to the SRS configuration and the hopping pattern.

Comb offset hopping for sounding reference signal transmissions

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method may include a user equipment (UE) receiving, in a first time slot, a downlink control information (DCI) message indicating second time slot or first time subslot for transmitting feedback according to a codebook size. The feedback may be transmitted in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). Corresponding subcarrier spacings (SCSs) for at least two of the PUCCH, the PDSCH, and the PDCCH may be different. The PUCCH may be scheduled as time subslots whereas both the PDSCH and the PDCCH may be scheduled as time slots. Further, the UE may monitor a set of one or more PDCCH monitoring occasions (PMOs) based on a mapping in accordance with a corresponding SCS, the PUCCH being scheduled as time subslots, or both, for feedback transmission.

Control channel monitoring occasions for different numerologies and sub-slot-based control channels

A configuration to enable a base station to schedule cross carrier scheduling of uplink and/or downlink transmissions using a DCI. The apparatus transmits, to a UE, a PDCCH including a cross carrier schedule. The PDCCH comprises DCI configured to schedule an uplink transmission or a downlink transmission. The DCI includes at least one FDRA field indicating RBs for the uplink transmission or the downlink transmission on at least one serving cell of the cross carrier schedule. The apparatus communicates with the UE based on the cross carrier schedule configured by the DCI.

DCI design for multi-cross carrier scheduling

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message that indicates a set of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports for DMRS communication between the UE and a network entity. The UE may select a subset of DMRS ports from the set of DMRS ports for DMRS bundling across a set of transmission occasions. The subset of DMRS ports may have fewer DMRS ports than the set of DMRS ports. The UE may communicate a set of DMRSs with the network entity over the set of transmission occasions using the set of DMRS ports. A portion of the set of DMRSs may correspond to the subset of DMRS ports, may satisfy a power condition for DMRS bunding, and may satisfy a phase continuity condition for DMRS bundling.

Demodulation reference signal bundling across a subset of demodulation reference signal ports

This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for resource selection supporting the identification of resources for receiving two-stage downlink control information (DCI). In some systems, for example, a base station may transmit a first stage DCI and a second stage DCI to a user equipment. The first stage DCI may include control information for a group of UEs including the UE and the second stage DCI may include control information that is specific to the UE. The UE may determine a resource to use for receiving the second stage DCI based on an indication in the first stage DCI. In some examples, the UE may determine a resource from a resource pool based on a resource selector included in the first stage DCI and receive the second stage DCI over the determined resource. The resource pool may be indicated by the first stage DCI or pre-configured at the UE.

Two-stage downlink control information for scheduling user equipments

Aspects relate to transmission of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) information. A user equipment may receive a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate carried by a control resource set that also carries a second PDCCH candidate, where these PDCCH candidates are associated with different aggregation levels. The user equipment may identify a PUCCH resource for transmission of information (e.g., an ACK or a NACK) that is associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission scheduled by the first PDCCH candidate. For example, the user equipment may identify the PUCCH resource based on a control channel element (CCE) index that corresponds to a starting CCE of the first PDCCH candidate and the second PDCCH candidate.

Identification of control channel resource

A UE may be configured with at least one SRS hopping configuration associated with an SRS hopping pattern, and the UE may obtain the SRS hopping pattern based on the at least one SRS hopping configuration and at least one hopping offset. Here, the SRS hopping pattern may include one or more subsets of hopping patterns and each subset of hopping patterns including a subset of consecutive SRS transmission occasions may be associated with a hopping offset. The UE may transmit a set of SRS across a plurality of SRS transmission occasions based on the SRS hopping pattern.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), generally including receiving, from a network entity, a configuration of one or more sounding reference signals (SRS) resources for codebook-based physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions, transmitting a report indicating a capability index associated with at least one downlink reference signal, transmitting the one or more of the SRS resources with an updated number of SRS ports associated with the capability index, if spatial relation information of the one or more of the SRS resources is associated with the downlink reference signal, receiving, from the network entity, signaling scheduling the UE to transmit a PUSCH based on one of the SRS resources, and transmitting the PUSCH with a number of PUSCH ports according to the updated number of SRS ports.

Dynamic switching between asymmetric panels for codebook based physical uplink shared channel transmission

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive from a network entity a message indicating one or more sets of parameters for a set of carriers supported by the UE, the one or more sets of parameters indicating communication parameters for communications via the set of carriers. The UE may monitor for a field of a control message based on the message. A field size of the field may be based on the sets of parameters, and a respective value for the field may indicate a respective set of parameters of the sets of parameters for one or more carriers of the set of carriers. Based on receiving a control message and decoding the associated field, the UE may communicate via at least one carrier of the set of carriers using the respective set of parameters for the at least one carrier.

Joint indication for multi-cell scheduling

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability to support receipt of multiple related downlink control channel transmissions, where the multiple related downlink control channel transmissions that are supported are one or more of single-frequency network (SFN) downlink control channel transmissions, intra-slot downlink control channel repetitions, or inter-slot downlink control channel repetitions, and are associated with one or more control resource sets. The UE may receive, from the base station based on transmission of the UE capability, a configuration for receiving the multiple related downlink control channel transmissions. The UE may then monitor a downlink control channel in accordance with the configuration.

Techniques for signaling user equipment capability for PDCCH repetition

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling scheduling a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission that overlap in the time domain. The UE may simultaneously transmit the PUSCH and PUCCH transmissions if the scheduled quantity of layers for the PUSCH transmission (or the scheduled quantity of layers for the PUSCH transmission and the PUCCH transmission) does not exceed an indicated maximum quantity of layers for PUSCH transmissions (or PUSCH and PUCCH transmissions). For a codebook based PUSCH transmission, the UE may simultaneously transmit the PUSCH and PUCCH transmissions if the scheduled quantity of antenna ports for the PUSCH transmission (or the scheduled quantity of antenna ports for the PUSCH transmission and the PUCCH transmission) does not exceed an indicated maximum quantity of ports for PUSCH transmissions (or PUSCH and PUCCH transmissions).

Overlapping physical uplink control channel and physical uplink shared channel transmissions

Aspects are provided which allow a UE to defer HARQ-ACK reporting in PUCCH transmissions according to a configured HARQ-ACK codebook. In one aspect, the UE receives, from a base station, information triggering feedback for DL HARQ processes of the UE, the UE receives a RRC message configuring the feedback to be for less than all of the DL HARQ processes, and the UE reports the feedback based on the information and the RRC message. In another aspect, the UE reports feedback including a plurality of HARQ-ACK bits in a PUCCH, where each of the HARQ-ACK bits is associated with DL data, and at least one of the DL data is associated with a cancelled PUCCH transmission. The UE may also append to the feedback a HARQ-ACK bit associated with other DL data, where the other data is associated with another cancelled PUCCH transmission.

Additional details on reporting HARQ-ACK

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information (CSI) for multiple transmission reception point (mTRP) scenarios. The techniques may provide for dynamic interference measurement for mTRP CSI. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI reporting configuration configuring the UE with a plurality of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources for channel measurement (CMRs) and a plurality of resources for interference measurement (IMRs). The method includes determining an indicator based on an association between one or more CMRs and one or more IMRs. A codepoint of the indicator is associated with an IMR or a set of IMRs by an order of the IMRs or the set of IMRs in the configuration, and is associated with a CMR, a CMR pair, or a part of the ports of a CMR. The method generally includes performing CSI measurement based on the association.
