Facilitating radio access network on-demand dynamic bandwidth allocation in advanced networks is provided herein. Operations of a system include determining that a group of network slice resources associated with network equipment fail to satisfy a specification applicable to a user equipment. The operations can also include extracting a first group of resource blocks from a first network slice resource of the group of network slice resources. Further, the operations can include reallocating the first group of resource blocks to a second network slice resource of the group of network slice resources. A combination of the first group of resource blocks and a second group of resource blocks of the second network slice resource is determined to satisfy the specification applicable to the user equipment.

Facilitating radio access network on-demand dynamic bandwidth allocation in advanced networks

An automated system provides end-to-end (E2E) orchestration for machine learning (ML)-enabled and software-defined network (SDN)-enabled reactive and predictive (e.g., 5G) cell-on-drone (COD) dispatch and deployment. The system may be configured to detect or predict traffic surges (e.g., relative to typical or baseline levels) in a given cell site and orchestrate provisioning of resources, including COD deployment, to address the surge. COD deployment may involve one or more clusters or colonies of drones equipped with low-powered cellular radio access (or small cell) nodes, where each cluster includes (or is led by) one or more SDN-equipped drones that provide intelligent SDN-on-drone (SOD) functionality.

Universal uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) colony wireline wireless orchestration and automation management

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system including a cross-segment slice controller (CSSC) configured to interface with a software-defined network (SDN) controller and a software-defined radio (SDR) controller. The SDN controller may be associated with a core network and the SDR controller may be associated with a radio access network (RAN). The system further includes a machine learning (ML) component configured to obtain and analyze data regarding the core network and the RAN, and an intelligent end-to-end (E2E) orchestration platform (IEOP) configured to coordinate with the SDN controller and the SDR controller via the CSSC based on outputs of the ML component to provide dynamic cross-segment network slice management. Intelligent machine learning (ML)-enabled end-to-end (E2E) automated orchestration for collaborative next-generation wireless wireline convergence (WWC)

The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to quantum key distribution ('QKD') networking as a service. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a microservices controller can establish a plurality of quantum connections with a plurality of virtual quantum connection managers (“vQCMs”) deployed in association with a set of quantum user nodes (“QUNs”) in a QKD network. The microservices controller can receive a request to initialize the QKD network. The microservices controller can coordinate with the plurality of vQCMs to handle initialization of the QKD network. The microservices controller can receive a QKD service request from a QKD network operator. The microservices controller can invoke a plurality of microservices to handle the QKD service request.

Quantum key distribution networking as a service

Distribution access channels among and across multiple communication networks can be managed. A distribution access management component (DAMC) can monitor communication conditions of communication channels across multiple communication networks employing respective communication technologies. During a data session between a data source device and communication device via a first communication channel associated with a first communication network, and in response to determining a failure of the first communication channel, DAMC can determine whether data traffic of the data session is to be re-routed from the first communication channel to a second communication channel associated with a second communication network based on a policy. If the policy indicates re-routing can be performed, DAMC can facilitate establishing the second communication channel, and data traffic of the data session can be re-routed via the second communication channel until the failure of the first communication channel is remedied.

Managing distribution access among and across multiple communication networks

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, monitoring status of a network configured to provide end-to-end delivery of services to priority user equipment authorized according to a prioritized class of service and other user equipment not authorized for the prioritized class of service. The prioritized class of service extends a reserved network capacity for end-to-end delivery of a service via first domain including first network slices and a second domain including second network slices. A network interruption compromising the reserved capacity is determined based on the monitored status and integration of an alternate group of slices into one of the first network domain, the second network domain, or both to replace the compromised group of slices, is orchestrated. Integration of the alternate group of slices restores reserved network capacity according to the prioritized class of service. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Network resiliency and impact coordination

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, authenticating, by a federated blockchain controller, a user equipment located within a cell coverage area of a network that includes heterogeneous cells. The federated blockchain controller can provide encryption data to the user equipment and corresponding authentication information to one or more multi-access edge computing (MEC) devices associated with the heterogeneous cells to enable secure and efficient handovers for the user equipment amongst the heterogeneous cells, without a need for additional handover reauthentication procedures. Methods, systems, and devices for federated blockchain-enabled handover authentication

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a request to facilitate communications between first and second processing nodes, determining that the communications are to be established via quantum teleportation between, and identifying a network path comprising a first path segment to obtain a quantum channel, wherein quantum entanglement is established between the first and second processing nodes based on transportation of a first quantum entangled object via the quantum channel. A classical communication channel is facilitated between the first and second processing nodes, adapted to exchange between the nodes, quantum state information of a measurement performed upon the first quantum entangled object. Information is exchanged between the first and second processing nodes via the quantum channel according to the transported first quantum entangled object and the exchanged quantum state information. System and method for network distribution of quantum entanglement

The present disclosure describes event detection and management for quantum communications in a communication network. The event detection and management for quantum communications in a communication network may be provided based on event-based interaction between quantum nodes of the communication network and a network controller of the communication network, such as where the quantum nodes detect events associated with quantum communications and report the events associated with quantum communications to the network controller and where the network controller receives the events associated with quantum communications from the quantum nodes and initiates event management operations based on the events associated with quantum communications. The event detection and management for quantum communications in a communication network may be provided for various aspects of quantum communications, such as for quantum channels configured to support quantum information transfers, quantum information transfers via quantum channels, quantum applications, and so forth.

An architecture for providing an on-demand dynamic cloudlet instantiation by leveraging a grouping of software defined network devices and their respective associated analytics modules. A method can comprise receiving quality of service data representing a 5G small cell device of a group of 5G small cell devices; generating a policy rule representing a predictive policy to facilitate an instantiation of a dynamic on-demand cloudlet node into a fog of dynamic on-demand cloudlet node instantiations; and facilitating the instantiation of the dynamic on-demand cloudlet node into the fog, by a hybrid fiber coaxial device, based on the policy rule and an indication received from the hybrid fiber coaxial that a traffic surge in communications with the 5G small cell device has occurred.
