A fuel tank comprising at least one fuel vapor accessory articulately coupled with a fuel tubing extending within the fuel tank. The tubing extends from a field end of the tank towards an outlet end thereof, and is formed with at least one aperture between the field end and the outlet end. The fuel vapor accessory is disposed between the field end and the outlet end. The tubing is secured to an inside upper wall of the fuel tank.

Venting tubing system for a fuel tank

A fuel vapor control valve comprising a housing fitted with an inlet port connectable to a fuel tank and an outlet port connectable to a fuel vapor recovery device. The inlet port and the outlet port are in flow communication via a first valve controlled passage admitting fuel vapor flow in a direction from the inlet port to the outlet port only when pressure within the fuel tank exceeds a threshold. A second valve controlled passage admits vapor flow in an opposite direction from the outlet port to the inlet port only when pressure within the fuel tank drops below pressure at the fuel vapor recovery device.

Vapor recovery control valve

A roll-over vent valve comprising a housing formed with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a valve seating bounding an outlet aperture of the housing, a float member received within the housing and axially displaceable between a sealed position wherein a sealing member thereof sealingly bears against the valve seating of the outlet aperture to seal the fluid outlet, and an open position wherein the sealing member is disengaged from the valve seating whereby the fluid outlet is in flow communication with the fluid inlet. There is further provided a pressure-retention device extending intermediate the valve seating and the fluid outlet, to thereby shut fluid flow therebetween as long as pressure differential between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet does not exceed a minimal pressure threshold. The valve further comprises a one-way fluid inlet valve being in flow communication with said fluid outlet to allow fluid flow towards said fluid inlet a substantially high flow rate at the event of under-pressure at the fluid inlet.

Roll over vent valve

A fuel tank made of a plastic material and fitted with at least one fuel accessory attached to an inside surface of a wall thereof, wherein the fuel accessory is attached to a predetermined site at the inside surface by fusion welding. Further there is disclosed a fuel accessory for attaching to a site at an inside wall portion of a plastic material fuel tank, comprising a housing formed with an engaging surface attachable to the site. The engaging surface is fitted with a fusion melting element for fusion welding the fuel accessory to the fuel tank.

Fuel accessory for fuel tank and method for internally attaching same

A liquid vapor separator for a vehicle's fuel system, said liquid vapor separator comprising a body having an inlet connectable with a venting system of a fuel tank and a vapor outlet connectable to a fuel vapor treating device, and a condensation space for condensation of fuel droplets, said space being in flow communication with said inlet and with said outlet, and said condensation space extending at or being in flow communication with a filler neck of the fuel system.

Liquid vapor separator

A valve comprising a housing defining a control space with an outlet port for fluid egress from the space and at least one inlet port for fluid ingress into the space control member is displaceable between an open state in which the outlet port is open and a closed state in which the outlet port is closed. The at least one inlet port of the at least one inlet port is formed at a wall portion of the housing at an upper wall portion, and a fluid draining port is formed at or adjacent a bottom end of the housing for draining fluid from the control space. The fluid draining port serves for preventing fluid ingress into the control space.

Filling valve

A liquid fuel trap device for a vehicle fuel tank, comprising a housing formed with a confined space with at least one inlet port connectable to a corresponding fuel valve, an outlet port connectable to a fuel vapor recovery system, and a liquid fuel discharge valve adapted for discharging liquid fuel from the confined space into the tank. The housing further comprises a connecting arrangement for attaching the device on an inner surface of an upper wall of the fuel tank.

Liquid fuel trap

A valve ( ) fitted within a fluid tank, the valve comprising a housing fitted with one or more fluid inlet ports, and an outlet port. The housing accommodates a float-type valve member ( ) axially displaceable within the housing responsive to fluid level within the tank, between an open position in which the outlet port ( ) is open, and a closed position in which the outlet port is sealingly closed. The housing is integrally formed with a nozzle member ( ) being in flow communication with the outlet port and having a main portion with an outlet thereof extending within the tank.

Valve and method for fitting it to a tank

A valve ( ) for a fluid tank, comprising a housing formed with one or more inlet ( ) and outlet ( ) ports, side walls and a seating wall ( ) portion supporting a float-type valve member. The valve member is axially displaceable within the housing responsive to fluid level within the tank, between an uppermost position and a lowermost position, and has a top and a bottom end and a bearing portion facing the seating wall portion of the housing. Either one or both of the seating wall portion of the housing and the bearing portion of the valve member, are fitted with one or more dampening members ( ) for diminishing impacting noise of the valve member encountering the housing upon displacement into the lowermost position.

Silenced valve

A liquid fuel trap device for a vehicle fuel tank, including a housing formed with a confined space with at least one inlet port. The at least one inlet port is connectable to a corresponding fuel valve. There is an outlet port connectable to a fuel vapor recovery system, and a fuel liquid discharge valve adapted for discharging liquid fuel from the space into the tank. The housing further includes a connecting arrangement for attaching the device on an inner surface of an upper wall of the fuel tank.

A fuel expansion device for a vehicle fuel tank, the device comprising a housing formed of a first housing member and a second housing member, both made of an essentially impermeable material and being sealingly and impermeably attached to one another. At least one inlet port for fuel fluid ingress is formed in the first member and is in flow communication with the fuel tank, and an outlet port is formed in the second member connectable to a fuel fluid handling device.
