System communications tailored to individual users may be dynamically provided based on monitored types of user activity in a virtual space. A given system communication may include one or more of a third-party advertisement, an offer for in-space products, an offer in-space services, an informative message, and/or other system communications. Monitored types of user activity include registering as a user, establishing a relationship with another user, and customizing a user character. Responsive to such activity, information is obtained regarding an amount of real-world money the user has spent and the total time spent by the user during gameplay. This information is used to select system communications. System communications may be provided for presentation to users via one or more communication channels.

Dynamically providing system communications tailored to individual users responsive to trigger events in virtual spaces

3,5-Diarylidenyl-N-substituted-piperid-4-one analogs, and pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof, are useful in the treatment or prevention of disorders including cancer, autoimmune disorders, inflammatory disorders, and fibrotic disorders. The compounds are included in pharmaceutical compositions, and are useful for treating disorders, such as cancer associated with aberrant Stat3 pathway activity. The compositions further include another therapeutic agent, such as an anticancer drug. Such compounds or compositions thereof are used to treat resistant and/or metastatic cancers. Methods also inhibit Stat3 pathway activity in a cell. Other methods are useful for making the pharmaceutical compounds. Synthetic methods are also useful for making the compounds. The compounds and compositions are useful as a fluorescent probe.

A given system communication may include one or more of a third-party advertisement, an offer for in-space products, an offer in-space services, an informative message, and/or other system communications. Specific activity may include (1) a user registers as a user in the virtual space, (2) a user establishes a relationship with another user and/or character in the virtual space, and/or (3) a user customizes a user character that is associated with the user. Current states may be obtained responsive to specific activity by a user. The system may determine whether individual current states correspond to one or more of a plurality of system communications. System communications may be provided for presentation to users via one or more communication channels.

System communications tailored to individual users may be dynamically provided responsive to trigger events in a virtual space. System communications may be sent if (1) triggered by trigger events in the virtual space, and (2) selected based on user state that is separate and discrete from the trigger events. Trigger events may include specific user actions, such as registering as a user in the virtual space. Current states may be obtained responsive to trigger events occurring. A given current state may include (1) a frequency of engagement by the first user in the virtual space, (2) an amount of real-world money spent toward the virtual space, and/or (3) total time spent by a user while engaged in gameplay in the virtual space. An individual system communication is selected and provided for presentation to a user responsive to an individual current state corresponding to the individual system communication.

A given system communication may include one or more of a third-party advertisement, an offer for in-space products, an offer in-space services, an informative message, and/or other system communications. Trigger events may include specific user actions defined as trigger events. Current states may be obtained responsive to trigger events occurring within the virtual space. A given current state may include (1) information associated with the virtual space at a given moment, (2) information associated with a user character at a given moment, and/or (3) information associated with a user at a given moment. It may be determined whether individual current states correspond to one or more of a plurality of system communications. System communications may be provided for presentation to users via one or more communication channels.

The present invention relates to oligopeptide derivatives that are conjugated to DNA alkylating agents, having the formula ##STR1## wherein m is 0 to 4; n is 2 to 4; each R.sub.1 is the same or different and is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; and R is a DNA alkylating moiety. The present invention is further directed to pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and method for treatment of cancer using the subject compounds.
