An endoscope including a handle and an insertion tube having a tip part () at the distal end and a working channel tube connected to a working channel passage () in the tip part (). The working channel passage () is circumferentially delimited by a working passage inner wall surface () and the working channel passage () has a proximal end including a proximal end surface () and a distal end. The tip part () includes a housing () with a housing centre axis (C). The working channel passage inner wall surface () includes at least one inner surface wall section having rotational symmetry about a working channel centre axis (c) and extending at least partially between the proximal end and the distal end of the working channel passage (). The working channel centre axis (c) is arranged at an angle to the housing centre axis (C).

Endoscope

A disposable endoscope with a tip part including a vision sensor, an exterior housing having a front wall and a circumferential wall, an interior spacing of the exterior housing accommodating the vision sensor, and a camera window positioned at least partly in front of the vision sensor, the housing further comprising a nozzle provided at the distal end of the tip part and configured to flush an exterior surface of the window, wherein the front wall and the nozzle are integrally formed in one piece from one polymer material.

Tip part for an endoscope

A tip part for an endoscope has a vision receptor having a vision sensor for providing an image from received light, a first lens, and a casing, the casing supporting the first lens so that the casing substantially maintains a position of the first lens in relation to the vision sensor; a first light source; an exterior housing; and a light shield positioned between the vision receptor and the first light source so as to prevent ingress of stray light from the first light source into the vision receptor by optically shielding the vision receptor; wherein the casing is formed integrally with the exterior housing so that the casing also substantially maintains the first lens in a position in relation to the exterior housing.

Method of making a tip part for an endoscope

An endoscope tip part including an exterior housing including a circumferentially extending side wall with a proximal opening, the circumferentially extending side wall defining an interior space with an air volume; a camera assembly positioned in the interior space so that the air volume envelops at least the distal portion of the camera assembly; and an interior housing part including a circumferentially extending closure surface and a circumferentially extending attachment surface, the interior housing part being positioned in the proximal opening; wherein the exterior housing and interior housing part are formed as separate prefabricated components, wherein the closure surface is configured for closing the proximal opening of the exterior housing so as to liquid-seal the air volume in the tip part, and wherein the attachment surface extends proximally from the proximal opening and is configured for attaching the interior housing part to another element of the tip part.

A method for manufacturing a tip housing for the distal tip of a vision device such as an endoscope is disclosed. The method includes providing a molding tool, introducing in the molding tool a first housing material, introducing in the molding at least one further housing material different from the first housing material, allowing the at least one further housing material to set and form a combined housing component with the first molding material, and removing the combined housing component from the molding tool.

Method for manufacturing a tip housing

A videoscope with a tip part including a camera assembly having an image sensor and a first light source and a first tolerance compensator having a pre-compensation condition and a post-compensation condition, wherein movement from the pre-compensation condition to the post-compensation condition adjusts a distance along the optical axis of the first light source between the first light source and the image sensor, and wherein in the post-compensation condition the first tolerance compensator maintains the distance between the first light source and the image sensor at least along the optical axis of the first light source.

Housing for the tip of a disposable insertion endoscope

A tip part for an insertable vision device, and an insertable vision device including the tip part. The tip part includes a housing accommodating an electronic vision receptor and adapted to extend from a distal end of an insertable elongate portion of the insertable vision device, and a light guide positioned within the housing, the light guide having a predetermined length in a longitudinal direction between a light reception end and a light emission end, the light reception end configured to receive light emanated from a light source and the light emission end configured to emit the light. An endoscope tip part including a tip housing at least partially enclosing an interior cavity and including a window, and a vision assembly accommodated in the interior cavity and including an imaging subassembly including an image sensor viewing in an optical direction through the window of the tip housing, a light source comprising an illumination surface for emitting light, a separate frame component including a light shielding wall made of an opaque material and extending between the image sensor and the light source so as to at least partially shield the image sensor from light emitted from the light source.

Endoscope tip part with improved optical properties

A tip part assembly for an endoscope, a method for assembling the tip part assembly, and an endoscope including the tip part assembly. The tip part assembly includes a flexible printed circuit having connection points, a camera module including a connection surface comprising connection points arranged in a first connection point pattern for electrical communication with the connection points of the flexible printed circuit, and a converter circuit board including a first surface including connection points arranged substantially in the first connection point pattern and a second surface including connection points arranged in a second connection point pattern being different than the first connection point pattern, wherein the first surface connection points are connected to the connection surface connection points, and wherein the second surface connection points are connected to the connection points of the flexible printed circuit.
