An audio streaming device for streaming an audio signal to at least one hearing assistive device (). The audio streaming device comprises at least one input transducer (), an electronic sensor device () adapted for sensing gravitational forces acting on the audio streaming device (), and a transmitter () adapted for streaming audio from the at least one input transducer () to the at least one hearing assistive device (). The audio streaming device () further comprises a shock protection unit () adapted for comparing an output signal from the electronic sensor device () to a first threshold value, and ceasing streaming by the transmitter () of the audio stream from the at least one input transducer (), when the output signal from the electronic sensor device () exceeds the first threshold value.

Audio streaming device

An audio streaming system including an audio streamer connected to an audio source, and at least one ear worn device. The audio streamer includes a first antenna with a first polarization, a second antenna with a second polarization, and a radio configured for transmitting a first audio stream signal () from the first antenna and a second audio stream signal () from the second antenna. The first audio stream signal () and the second audio stream signal () carry the same audio information and are shifted in time. At least one ear worn device is configured to receive the first audio stream signal () and the second audio stream signal (), compare the signal strength of the first audio stream signal () and the second audio stream signal (), and select either the first audio stream signal () and the second audio stream signal () as input for audio reception.
