A nacelle for a wind turbine and a method for erecting a wind turbine are disclosed. The nacelle comprises a main unit arranged to be connected to a wind turbine tower, via a yawing arrangement, and at least one side unit mounted along a side of the main unit in such a manner that direct access is allowed between the main unit and the side unit(s), each side unit accommodating at least one wind turbine component, and at least one side unit being capable of carrying the wind turbine component(s) accommodated therein. The main unit and at least one of the side unit(s) are distributed side by side along a substantially horizontal direction which is substantially transverse to a rotational axis of a rotor of the wind turbine. A sufficient interior space of the nacelle is obtained while allowing the nacelle to be transported due to the modular construction. The weight of the wind turbine components is arranged close to the tower due to the transversal arrangement of the side unit(s) relative to the main unit.

This invention relates to a tilting mechanism for wheeled vehicles such as bicycles both electrical and manually powered, motorcycles, mopeds, scooters and the like. The wheeled vehicle, preferably with three wheels or more, driving like a 2-in-line vehicle and handles the same way in the turns and when driving straight. The tilting mechanism for a multiple wheeled vehicle, comprising a tilting mechanism that allows for leaning body and wheels into a turn and independent adjustment of the turning radius, while inducing an effect to the two front wheels similar to Ackerman steering compensation. The principle of the tilting mechanism is a parallelogram structure, which comprises a top rod, a bottom rod and a pair of connecting rods, pivotally connected to each other. To each of the connecting rods a pair of steering elements is pivotally connected and on two steering elements a pair of wheels is connected.

The invention provides a tool for moving a drivetrain component in a nacelle of a horizontal axis wind turbine, the nacelle comprising a nacelle structure, the component being connected, in operation of the wind turbine, to a rotor of the wind turbine, the tool comprising at least drive unit for moving the component in relation to the nacelle in a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the rotor, and a plurality of position adjustment devices adapted to be located between the nacelle structure and the component, and distributed so that rotational movement of the component can be provided by coordinated control of the position adjustment devices.

Tool and a method for moving a wind turbine drivetrain component

The invention includes a tool for moving a drivetrain component in a nacelle of a horizontal axis wind turbine, the nacelle comprising a nacelle structure, the component being connected, in operation of the wind turbine, to a rotor of the wind turbine, the tool comprising at least one carrier adapted to be connected to the component, to carry the weight of the component, and to be supported by the nacelle structure, and at least one drive unit adapted to be connected to the nacelle structure and to the carrier, so as to provide a force between the nacelle structure and the carrier, so as to drive the carrier with the component in a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the rotor.

A heli-hoist pad that is incorporated into a wind turbine nacelle in a manner that is optimized for helicopter approach and positioning of the heli-hoist pad, such as by being located within a recess in an upper surface of the wind turbine nacelle. Heat exchangers may also be positioned within the free flow of wind outside of a nacelle in manners that provide for serviceability while also allowing for optimal positioning of a heli-hoist pad.

A wind turbine for generating electrical energy may include a tower, a nacelle at the top of the tower, and a rotor coupled to a generator within the nacelle. The wind turbine further includes a cooler including a spoiler and at least one cooler panel projecting above a roof of the nacelle. A heliplatform includes a support structure extending from the nacelle and at least partially integrated with the cooler. The wind turbine may also include a crane coupled to the nacelle and configured to move between a first stowed position underneath the nacelle roof and a second operational position. The invention relates to a transportation system for transporting at least one drive train component () of a wind turbine () comprising a tower () and a nacelle () arranged on the top of said tower, said transportation system comprising a displacement system comprising one or more transportation rails () being arranged to support said at least one drive train component during displacement thereof, the displacement system facilitating displacement of the drive train component substantially parallel to the rotor axis between an installation location for the drive train component and a second location () by means of a first drive arrangement of said displacement system, and a second drive arrangement () mounted on said nacelle and comprising at least one winch (), said second drive arrangement being separate to said displacement system and facilitating transportation of said drive train component between said second location and a lower level when connected to the drive train component independently of the operation of the displacement system. The invention furthermore relates to a wind turbine nacelle with a transportation system and a method of transporting a drive train component of a wind turbine.

A nacelle for a wind turbine, the nacelle having a first height in its installed position and a second height in its transported position, the first height being higher than the second height, comprising a bottom part having a bottom face and two opposite side faces defining a space and a width of the bottom part and a top part. In the transported position, the top part extends inside the width or outside the width in order to cover at least part of the space. The invention also relates to a transportation kit and a transport method.
