A monitoring system including a master device adapted for wireless communication with at least one slave device having a sensor. The sensor of the at least one slave device is adapted for acquiring a physiological signal. The master device is adapted for providing a synchronization signal to the at least one slave device and instructing the at least one slave device to acquire the physiological signal based on timing instructions. The at least one slave device is adapted for acquiring the physiological signal by means of the sensor according to the received timing instructions and transmitting the acquired physiological signal wirelessly to the master device. The master device includes a processor for processing the synchronized, physiological signals acquired by sensors synchronized via wireless communication.

A hearing assistive system including a first hearing assistive device adapted for wireless communication with second hearing assistive device, wherein the first hearing assistive device and the second hearing assistive device have at least one sensor adapted for acquiring a physiological signal each. The first hearing assistive device is adapted for providing a synchronization signal to the second hearing assistive device and instructing the second hearing assistive device to acquire the physiological signal based on timing instructions. The second hearing assistive device is adapted for acquiring the physiological signal by means of the sensor according to the received timing instructions and transmitting the acquired physiological signal wirelessly to the first hearing assistive device. The first hearing assistive device includes a processor for processing the synchronized, physiological signals acquired by sensors of the first hearing assistive device and the second hearing assistive device and synchronized via wireless communication.

A programming equipment () for programming (fitting) of a programmable hearing aid () comprises means for receiving information on the state of operation of signal processing systems included in the hearing aid. This information is utilized to present a graphical representation of the state of operation of these systems to the person performing the programming. The present invention relates to a system comprising a telephone () and a hearing aid (). The analog signal to the loudspeaker () of the telephone () is picked up and digitalized at the telephone where after it is wirelessly transmitted to the hearing aid () using a radio transceiver at the telephone (), coupling with a radio at the hearing aid. The sound from the telephone () is hereby transmitted directly to the hearing aid without relying on the acoustic coupling between the telephone speaker () and the hearing aid microphones and may further be transmitted to both left and right hearing aid at the same time. The invention provides a telephone, a hearing aid and a method of communicating with a hearing aid.

Method and system for wireless communication between a telephone and a hearing aid

A hearing aid () comprises first wireless link means configured to receive a first data signal using a first carrier frequency and second wireless link means configured to receive a second data signal using a second carrier frequency and wherein a first electrical antenna of the first wireless link means also forms part of a first band pass filter of the second wireless link means. The invention provides a hearing aid, a binaural hearing aid system and a method of receiving a first and second wireless signal.

A hearing aid system comprises a hearing aid () and an external device (). The external device () continuously sends short range power-off commands () to the hearing aid (). Under normal operation of a hearing aid, the range is too short to power-off the hearing. Method for identifying a receiver in a hearing aid

The application relates to an in-situ method to measure and adjust the sound signal presented to the eardrum by means of a hearing aid and a hearing aid employing such a method. The hearing aid comprises microphone ( ), signal processing system comprising digital signal processor ( ) for transforming the microphone signal into a transformed signal according to a desired transformation function, sensor ( ) sensing the sound signal appearing in front of the eardrum and comparator ( ). Reference signal processor ( ) generates a reference signal based on the output of microphone ( ) and representative of the desired sound signal in front of the eardrum. A transfer function between receiver ( ) and the output of sensor ( ) is established to correct the process in reference signal processor ( ). The sound signal in front of the eardrum is sensed, fed back and compared in said comparator ( ) with said reference signal. In the case that the difference between the sensed signal and the reference signal is above a predetermined threshold the transformed signal is corrected to adjust said signal in front of the eardrum to the desired sound signal.
