The present invention relates to an augmented hearing device comprising a receiver of a first type being adapted to generate sound signals in a first and in a second frequency range, a receiver of a second type being adapted to generate sound signals in a third frequency range, said third frequency range being between the first and second frequency ranges, and an input port for receiving signals to be reproduced as sound signals via at least one of the receivers. The input port may be arranged to receive wireless input signal, such as Bluetooth input signals. The present invention further relates to a method for operating a hearing device.

Customized audio/antenna module and method for making the same

A magnetic circuit includes an inner permanent magnet assembly and an outer permanent magnet assembly, a magnetically permeable yoke, and first and second air gap portions conducting first and second magnetic flux densities, respectively, the first and second air gap portions being adapted to receive first and second voice coil segments, respectively. The magnetic flux density in the first air gap portion is generated by superposition of magnetic flux generated by the inner permanent magnet assembly and magnetic flux generated by the outer permanent magnet assembly, and wherein the magnetic flux density in the second air gap portion is generated substantially exclusively by the inner permanent magnet assembly.

High efficient miniature electro-acoustic transducer with reduced dimensions

The pair of guiding tracks and the polymer-based mat may be arranged relative to each other in such a way that the pair of guiding tracks define a maximum allowed penetration depth of blades of the safety razor blade into the polymer-based mat. The polymer-based mat may be arranged in the through-going opening so that the polymer-based mat forms a non-slipping arrangement when the device is positioned on a substantially plane support.

The present invention relates to a miniature electro-acoustic transducer comprising a voice coil comprising an air gap voice coil portion at least partly positioned in an air gap of a magnet assembly, and a second voice coil portion attached to a diaphragm of the miniature transducer. An electroacoustic transducer comprising a magnetic circuit of a magnetically conductive material with a pair of opposed surfaces defining a gap there between, the magnetic circuit comprising one magnet. The magnet can either be positioned in the center of the magnetically conductive material so as to form two gaps. In an alternative embodiment the magnet is attached to the magnetic conductive material forming only one gap. The transducer further comprises a diaphragm and a coil system having electrically conducting paths fastened to the diaphragm. The coil system has portions of its paths situated in the gap. The transducer may be supplied with an additional diaphragm and coil system positioned on the opposite side of the magnetic circuit. In a preferred embodiment the transducer is rectangular. The transducer is suited for integration into miniature components such as mobile communication equipment and hearing aids. Embodiments of the transducer are suited for side-firing or side-shooting applications such as in mobile phones.

One-magnet rectangular transducer

An electro-acoustic communications unit ( ) such as a mobile telephone and a telephone handset or headset. The unit has a receiver transducer ( ) generating sound signals from a first side ( ) of the transducer, and the sound signals are output from the unit through one or more openings ( ) in the housing ( ). The transducer ( ) is secured to a structure of the unit with its first side facing away from that structure. The transducer can thereby be placed at any desired location in the unit including in particular other structures than the housing wall, and a volume in the housing is included in the sound path from the transducer to the user's ear. The telephone can thus be very compact and still be leak-tolerant.

Electro-acoustic communications unit

An electroacoutic communications unit with a receiver transducer in a housing. The communications unit has accoustic connections both from the front side of the diaphragm of the transducer and from its rear side to the area inwardly of the face of the unit for engagement with a user's ear as well as to the area outwardly of this engagement face. These four acoustic connections constitute the four branches of an acoustic balance bridge with the transducer as a generator. This configuration is particularly expedient, as it is hereby possible to reduce the inner air volume in the communications unit behind the diaphragm of the transducer to a size which is without importance for the size of the telephone in practice. Furthermore, variations in the degree of tightness of the engagement of the communications unit with the user's ear will only influence the frequency characteristic to a very limited degree.

Telephone handset, cordless telephone or mobile telephone for improving acoustic problems in a frequency range

The present invention relates to a telephone handset using an acoustic low impedance receiver transducer. A good reproduction of the low frequencies is obtained by introducing a front cover (7) having pure acoustic ohmic connections (8, 14) from the front side of the transducer diaphragm to the space (9) within the handset house (2).
