Air filter device

The present invention comprises an apparatus and a method for mass analyses of an array of samples contained in distinct sample holders. The sample holders are placed on a plurality of sensors which preferably comprise an array of microbalances providing output signals comprising mass data on the array of samples.

Method and apparatus for mass analysis of samples

A lamphouse () is configured to accommodate and cool an image projector lamp (). The lamphouse receives through an air intake opening () cool airflow (A) drawn by a fan and is equipped with an internal chamber () and plural internal fins (). Plural exhaust openings () on the downstream side of the lamp reflector () and burner () are arranged essentially perpendicular to the direction of flow of air (A) heated by the lamp and such that, when the airflows from the surroundings (A) and (A) are mixed in the area immediately after the lamphouse, a resulting airflow (A) will, upon reaching projector exhaust openings (), have a substantially uniform and relatively low temperature. The exhaust openings () are configured so that the heated airflow is mixed with the cooler airflow before striking the projector chassis reaching the projector exit grill.

Lamphouse

A device for cooling a projector includes a plurality of air intakes positioned upstream from a suction fan having an integrated motor. A light source of the projector is disposed between a first air intake and the suction fan so that a first air flow, drawn by the fan through the first air intake, flows around and pulls heat away from the light source. A second air intake is positioned to admit a second air flow, also drawn by the fan, that passes through a duct positioned adjacent an upstream side of the suction fan to direct the second air flow against the fan motor. The second air flow, which has a temperature that is not substantially affected by the light source, cools the fan motor and forms an insulating air layer that protects the fan motor from being damaged by the high temperatures of the first air flow.

Cooling device in a projector

The invention relates to a needle bolder, for use in combination with a syringe and a needle, characterized in that the needle holder is provided with an expandable element and with retention means for the expandable element, so that contact of the expandable element with an injection causes expansion of the expandable element and, as a consequence retraction of the needle into the needle holder. The invention relates too to a syringe comprising said needle holder.
