A tip part assembly for an endoscope having a proximal end and a distal end positioned oppositely from the proximal end, the tip part assembly including: a working channel extending in a longitudinal direction extending from the proximal end toward the distal end, and a camera assembly including a flexible printed circuit and a camera module having an image sensor, a lens, and a proximal connection surface, wherein the camera module is positioned above the working channel in a top-down direction providing a lateral direction extending laterally from both the camera module and the working channel, and wherein the flexible printed circuit continues from a connection to the connection surface of the camera module in the lateral direction into a first fold of the flexible printed circuit toward the proximal end of the tip part assembly.

Tip part assembly for an endoscope

A tip part for a medical insertion vision device, a method of making the tip part, and a visualization system including the medical insertion vision device. The tip part includes an exterior housing having a distal front wall and a circumferential wall, the distal front wall and the circumferential wall enclosing an interior spacing having a camera compartment at a distal end and a potting compartment proximal of the camera compartment; a camera assembly positioned in the camera compartment, the camera assembly comprising an image sensor and a lens stack positioned distally of the image sensor, the image sensor having a proximal end; a sealing material that forms a seal that seals the camera compartment from the potting compartment; and a potting material in the potting compartment, the sealing material preventing the potting material from extending father distally than the proximal end of the image sensor.

Tip part for a medical insertion vision device

A method of manufacture of a tip part assembly for an endoscope, including: providing a bending section; providing a camera assembly including a camera module and a circuit board positioned at the proximal end of the assembly; providing a cup-shaped housing defining a distal end of the manufactured tip part assembly and including a circumferential wall extending between proximal and distal ends of the housing and a distal end wall positioned at the distal end of the housing, the circumferential wall and the distal end wall enclosing a spacing; inserting the camera assembly through the open proximal end of the housing so that the camera assembly is at least partly positioned within the spacing; and filling a liquid adhesive into the spacing through the open proximal end of the housing so that the camera assembly is at least partly embedded in the adhesive.

A method of manufacture of a tip part assembly for an endoscope having a proximal end and a distal end opposite from the proximal end, the method including: providing a bending section having a proximal end and a distal end, providing a camera assembly including a camera module, providing a substantially tubular circumferential wall having a proximal end and a distal end opposite from the proximal end, providing a distal end wall, arranging the camera module to be held by or attached to the distal end wall, manufacturing a housing by adjoining the distal end wall to the distal end of the circumferential wall, the housing including the circumferential wall and the distal end wall and enclosing a spacing that houses at least a portion of the camera module, and adjoining the distal end of the bending section and the proximal end of the housing.

A disposable endoscope with a tip part including a vision sensor, an exterior housing having a front wall and a circumferential wall, an interior spacing of the exterior housing accommodating the vision sensor, and a camera window positioned at least partly in front of the vision sensor, the housing further comprising a nozzle provided at the distal end of the tip part and configured to flush an exterior surface of the window, wherein the front wall and the nozzle are integrally formed in one piece from one polymer material.

Tip part for an endoscope

A tip part for an insertable vision device, and an insertable vision device including the tip part. The tip part includes a housing accommodating an electronic vision receptor and adapted to extend from a distal end of an insertable elongate portion of the insertable vision device, and a light guide positioned within the housing, the light guide having a predetermined length in a longitudinal direction between a light reception end and a light emission end, the light reception end configured to receive light emanated from a light source and the light emission end configured to emit the light. The light guide includes, along at least a portion of the predetermined length, an expanding sector or a narrowing sector.

A tip part for an endoscope has a vision receptor having a vision sensor for providing an image from received light, a first lens, and a casing, the casing supporting the first lens so that the casing substantially maintains a position of the first lens in relation to the vision sensor; a first light source; an exterior housing; and a light shield positioned between the vision receptor and the first light source so as to prevent ingress of stray light from the first light source into the vision receptor by optically shielding the vision receptor; wherein the casing is formed integrally with the exterior housing so that the casing also substantially maintains the first lens in a position in relation to the exterior housing.

An endoscope () having a suction channel and a suction connector in communication with said suction channel, and a working channel through which a liquid may pass. A valve for diverting the suction through the sampling device through a sample container is provided. The endoscope () further includes an actuator () for propelling the liquid through said working channel.

A tip part for an endoscope has a vision receptor; a first light source; an exterior housing accommodating the vision receptor and the first light source; the exterior housing comprising a window positioned at a distal end of the tip part, the window being of a transparent material, the window comprising an exterior front surface positioned at least partly in front of the vision receptor and the first light source, wherein the window integrally comprises a first optical well of the transparent material, the first optical well being an interior protrusion positioned between the first light source and the vision receptor so that a portion of light emitted from the first light source and reflected from the exterior surface enters the first optical well, whereby stray light is at least partially prevented from entering the vision receptor.

A tip part for an endoscope has a vision receptor having a vision sensor for providing an image from received light; a first light source; an exterior housing; and a first lens positioned in front of the first light source so that a portion of light emitted from the first light source travels towards and propagates through the first lens; the exterior housing comprising a window consisting essentially of a transparent material, so that light emitted from the first light source can pass through the window to the exterior, the window comprising an exterior surface positioned at in front of the first light source, wherein the first lens is a convex lens and has a convex lens surface integrally provided on an interior surface of the window.

A method for manufacturing a tip housing for the distal tip of a vision device such as an endoscope is disclosed. The method includes providing a molding tool, introducing in the molding tool a first housing material, introducing in the molding at least one further housing material different from the first housing material, allowing the at least one further housing material to set and form a combined housing component with the first molding material, and removing the combined housing component from the molding tool.

Method for manufacturing a tip housing

An endoscope includes a hollow handle housing and an insertion tube including a tip part at the distal end of the endoscope. The tip part includes an illumination arrangement with an elongated single-piece light guide having a proximal light guide end and at least one distal light guide end, wherein the proximal light guide end is adapted for receiving at least one light fiber. The at least one distal light guide end has an end surface adapted for emitting the light from a light source. The cross-section of the proximal light guide end differs from the cross-section of the at least another part of the light guide.
