Provided is a method and system that includes an imaging device to be disposed in a lighting fixture to capture images, a remote computing device in communication with the imaging device, and comprising at least one processor. The processor is capable of processing data related to images from the at least one imaging device and from a satellite imagery system, performing comparison operation by detecting a first set of points of interest in an image from the at least one imaging device and corresponding second set of points of interest in an image of a same area from the satellite imagery system, and calculating a homography matrix by matching the first set of points of interests in the image from the at least one imaging device and the second set of points of interest in the image from the satellite imagery system, to determine latitude and longitude coordinates of the image from the imaging device.

Provided is a method and system including at least one imaging device disposed within an area to be monitored, and configured to capture one or more images and video segments of the area; a computing device in communication with the imaging device, that transmits and receive data to and from the at least one imaging device, performs video analytics to detect objects, compares between different video segments (i.e., frames) and still images within a plurality of time lapse periods of the area to be monitored, and selects different video segments and still images to be captured of the area, by the at least one imaging device, and parameters to determine the video analytics to be performed, based on the results of the comparison.

Provided is a method and system that includes an imaging device disposed within a parking area, and configured to capture one or more images of a parked vehicle, and monitor a location of the parked vehicle a remote computing device in wireless communication with the image device. The remote computing device is configured to transmit and receive parking data from the image device. Also included is a software module accessible via a user device for controlling and displaying the one or more images of the parked vehicle to a user. The user selects the parked vehicle to be monitored, and the imaging device monitors the parked vehicle to determine whether the parked vehicle has been moved or is parked illegally and wirelessly transmits a notification to the user.

A method of generating an augmented reality (AR) signage solution including acquiring an image of a structure, establishing scaling information for the image by correlating dimensional information of the structure to points in the image, obtaining jurisdictional signage rules, designing a layout for signage on the structure in compliance with the jurisdictional signage rules, depicting in AR the acquired image and signage layout, and generating production documentation after obtaining user approval. The method including detecting the location of one or more obstructions on the structure and incorporating the obstruction locations in the signage layout. The method including adjusting the orientation of the acquired structure image within the AR to reduce skew of the structure in relation to a viewing perspective. A system and non-transitory computer-readable medium are also disclosed.

Mobile application for signage design solution using augmented reality

Provided is a system for optimizing geo-location of digital images captured in a stationary camera. The system includes a camera configured for capturing a digital image within a field of view of the camera, the image being representative of pixel coordinates and a beacon system including a (i) geo-positioning device for determining geo-coordinates of the device and (ii) a plurality of optical markers. The geo-coordinates are established for each of the markers relative to the geo-coordinates of the device. The beacon system is configured for positioning within the field of view. Also included is a matrix module for creating a transformation matrix for correlating one of more of the pixels with the geo-coordinates of each of the markers, the correlating producing geo-coordinates for the one of more pixels.
