An incentive-based waste reduction system and method thereof are disclosed herein. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, an incentive-based waste reduction system comprises a collection means comprising at least a load-determining device, the collection means for obtaining a quantifiable measure of waste material from an entity, a value associated with the quantifiable measure of waste material, an adjustment factor for adjusting the value associated with the quantifiable measure of waste material, determined from an algorithm, the algorithm taking as an input at least a predetermined factor, a credit value associated with at least a quantifiable measure of deposited waste material, and a reward value associated with the credit value. Information about the waste material is transmitted to a host server which performs actions based on the received information, including reconfiguring a deployment scheme of trucks to routes to save resources.

Incentive-based waste reduction system and method thereof

Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a system and method for managing an incentive-based recycling program. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to managing an incentive-based recycling program through administering a dynamic customer loyalty rewards program associated therewith. In one embodiment of the present invention, a method of managing an incentive-based recycling system comprises inputting customer data into a collective database, and generating a customer account, inputting hauler data into the collective database, and generating a hauler account, inputting vendor data into the collective database, and generating a vendor account, recording a recycling activity associated with a customer account on the collective database, allocating credits to a customer account, in an amount correlating to the recycling activity associated with the customer account, on the collective database, and enabling the customer to manage the credits associated with the customer account.

In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for cross-integrating consumer loyalty programs comprises obtaining a first set of consumer data on a consumer from a first reward partner, obtaining a second set of consumer data from the consumer, aggregating the first set of consumer data and the second set of consumer data in a database, creating an aggregated consumer record in the database from the aggregated data, and providing access to the aggregated consumer record to the first reward partner.
