A battery housing assembly includes a battery housing which encloses an interior for receiving a plurality of battery cells. A heat transfer device which has an inlet, an outlet, and at least one fluid channel arranged fluidically therebetween. The fluid flows through the heat transfer device from the inlet to the outlet via the at least one fluid channel that is arranged in the interior. A contact side of the channel is pressed against at least one contact element to the battery cells in order to transfer heat. At least one expansion element, as a result of the fluid in the heat transfer device being pressurized, expands in order to press the at least one fluid channel against the at least one contact element by bracing against a bracing surface.

The invention relates to a battery cooling element having: an outer surface for resting at least in regions against a battery cell and/or for resting at least in regions against a battery module comprising at least two battery cells; an inner chamber for receiving a cooling medium, which inner chamber is surrounded at least in regions by the outer surface; and a cooling medium inlet connected to the inner chamber and a cooling medium outlet connected to the inner chamber, wherein the outer surface is made, at least in regions, of a thermally conductive, flexible film which can be shaped by a fluid pressure of the cooling medium.

A battery housing arrangement, in particular a battery housing assembly of a vehicle traction battery which can be temperature-controlled by a fluid, comprises a battery housing which encloses an interior space for receiving battery cells, and a heat transmission device which has an inlet tube, an outlet tube and a heat exchanger element arranged fluidically therebetween. The fluid is able to flow through the heat transmission device from the inlet tube via the heat exchanger element to the outlet tube. The heat exchanger element can be accommodated in the battery housing. The battery housing has at least one through-opening for feeding through the inlet tube and the outlet tube, and the battery housing has at least one closure element which is inserted into the at least one through-opening and forms a closure between the inlet tube and/or the outlet tube and the at least one through-opening.
