A waterproof push button switch does not need to be covered with a resin to a height at which a divided connected portion of a case for the switch is hidden by the resin in a height direction and the divided connected portion may be waterproofed. A gap () is formed between a peripheral wall portionof a base caseand a second cylindrical wall portionof a cover case, and between an opposite surfaceof the cover caseand a waterproofing seal member. The gap () extends from an opening portion of the base case fitting chamberto an annular watertight seal portionto completely surround a periphery of the watertight seal portion. The thickness of the gap portionis determined so that the resin entered into the gap portionfrom an opening portionof the base case fitting chamberreaches the watertight seal portionby surface tension.

Waterproof push button switch

A surface mount variable resistor meets the needs of user for front and rear terminals of an insulating substrate. The surface mount variable resistor includes an insulating substratewith a variable resistor patternand electrode patternsformed thereon, resistor termination terminal fittingsconnected to the electrode patterns, an electrically conductive sliderincluding a sliding contactthat slides on the variable resistor pattern, and an intermediate terminalthat includes a rear intermediate terminal fitting portionand is electrically connected to the electrically conductive slider. The intermediate terminalincludes an extended conductor portionand the rear intermediate terminal fitting portionintegrally formed with the extended conductor portion. Surface mount variable resistor

A connector device for interconnecting circuit substrates is obtained, in which a pitch for electrically conducting paths can easily be aligned with a pitch for electrodes on the side of circuit substrates. The connector includes a rectangular parallelepiped connecting element () and a connector housing (). The rectangular parallelepiped connecting element () has a plurality of electrically conducting paths disposed on a rectangular parallelepiped insulating base thereof at an insulating interval and the connector housing () is mounted on a first circuit substrate () with the rectangular parallelepiped connecting element () received therein. The connector housing () allows an electrically conducting path portion of the rectangular parallelepiped connecting element () to be electrically connected to first connecting electrodes disposed on the first circuit substrate (), receives a substrate portion of a second substrate () where second connecting electrodes are disposed, and brings the electrically conducting path portion of the rectangular parallelepiped connecting element () and the second connecting electrodes of the second circuit substrate () into contact with each other.

Connector device for interconnecting circuit substrates

A connector device for interconnecting circuit substrates is provided, in which no electric element for protection needs to be mounted separately on circuit substrates. A rectangular parallelepiped connecting element having an electrical component () is received in a connector housing (). The rectangular parallelepiped connecting element having an electrical component () includes a plurality of first electrically conducting path portions () and a plurality of second electrically conducting path portions () disposed on a rectangular parallelepiped insulating base (), and a plurality of electric elements () that are electrically connected in series with the plurality of first electrically conducting path portions () and the plurality of second electrically conducting path portions (). The connector housing () is configured to allow the plurality of first electrically conducting path portions () to be electrically connected to a plurality of first connecting electrodes () of a first circuit substrate (), and bring a plurality of second connecting electrodes () on a second circuit substrate () into contact with the plurality of second electrically conducting path portions ().

A sensor unit is disclosed which is adapted to be used as a detector for a fuel gauge, an oil pressure gauge or the like for a vehicle. A variable resistor serving as a signal converting device is securely fitted at both ends thereof in board fixing grooves formed at a frame fixed on a fixing bracket, so that fixing of the variable resistor may be accomplished without using adhesives. Fixing and electrical connection of a connection conductor are attained by merely fitting the connection conductor in an extension restraining groove without soldering.
