Electrically operated switch-over valve

In order to realize higher compatibility of high-performability and energy saving of a refrigerator-freezer, a valve housing having one inlet port normally communicating with a valve chamber and first and second outlet ports B, C opening on a bottom face of the valve chamber, a valve body rotatably provided in the valve chamber and having a partition wall portion on its end face facing a bottom face of the valve chamber, to partition the end face into an opening area communicated with the valve chamber and a non-opening area not communicating with the valve chamber, and an electric actuator to steppingly turn the valve body are provided for an electrically operated selector valve used in a refrigerating cycle unit for the refrigerator-freezer, and the position of the valve body is changed by four positions A-D.

Motor-operated selector valve and refrigerating cycle device for refrigerator-freezer

A valve housing of the control valve has a communication passage communicating a suction port of the compressor with a crank chamber of the compressor. A main valve is provided in the valve housing for opening and closing the communication passage. A spring member resiliently biases the main valve toward its closed position. A pressure actuated unit moves the main valve toward the open position by receiving a suction pressure of the compressor. A flow adjustment valve is disposed in the valve housing for adjusting an open degree of a leak passage and receives the discharge pressure exerting a force on the flow adjustment valve toward its closed position. The flow adjustment valve increases a leak flow rate of a fluid flowing from a discharge port of the compressor to a crank chamber through a leak passage when the compressor provides a lower discharge pressure. A correction spring is disposed between the main valve and the flow adjustment valve. The correction spring resiliently biases a valve element of the main valve toward the open position and increases in spring force with transfer of a valve element of the flow adjustment valve toward its closed position.

Control valve for variable displacement compressor

A valve housing has a communication passage communicating a suction port of the compressor with a crank chamber of the compressor. A valve element opens and closes the communication passage, and a spring member resiliently biases the valve element toward the closed position. A pressure actuated unit moves the valve element toward the open position by a suction pressure of the compressor. The spring member includes a spring made of a temperature responsive material. The spring decreases in its resilient force in an opening direction of the valve element with increase of an outer-air temperature. The spring member has a primary spring made of an ordinary resilient material for resiliently biasing the valve element toward the closed position and a correction spring made of a material having a temperature positive characteristic. The correction spring provides a correction spring force smaller than a primary force of the primary spring in the opposite direction to the primary force. The combined spring force of the primary spring and the correction spring acting on the valve element.

The expansion valve has an operating pressure setting member that can adjust the operating pressure of a pressure-activated diaphragm by moving a spring retainer of an operating spring against the force the spring which is interposed between the diaphragm and the spring retainer. The operating pressure setting member, after being set at a desired setting position, is securely fitted into and crimped by a secondary coolant flow pipe. The operating pressure setting member has a coolant passage for the coolant to pass through. This construction can completely prevent leakage of the coolant from the operating pressure setting member as would occur with conventional expansion valves whose operating pressure setting member is not installed inside the secondary coolant flow pipe.

Small-capacity expansion valve

A temperature responsive expansion valve. The opening degree of a first valve body is adjusted by comparing an actual superheating degree with a predetermined reference superheating degree. A temperature responsive expansion valve comprises a valve needle disposed within the first valve body, said valve needle being driven by a difference between the refrigerant pressure on the primary side and the refrigerant pressure on the secondary side, said valve needle moving to enlarge the area of flow path within the valve opening when the pressure differential between the primary and secondary sides is smaller than a predetermined reference value.
