Various fluid delivery systems are described comprising an infusion pump having a housing with a first opening and a hollow interior portion that is configured to receive a cartridge having a tubing. A pump unit can be disposed within the housing. The pump unit comprises a motor mechanically coupled with a crank shaft or eccentric cam that is configured to move a set of pistons or other objects to thereby compress one or more portions of the tubing over time as the crank shaft or eccentric cam rotates.

Systems and components for regulating fluid infusion to a patient

Systems and methods are described for presenting information for managing a vital sign of a patient. A graphical user interface (GUI) can be presented that displays information concerning a vital sign of a patient, including the most current value of the vital sign received and past values of the vital sign over an elapsed time period. Preferably, the systems and methods are used with a closed-loop system that may automatically adjust a dosage rate of a medication, although manual control is also contemplated. The GUI may comprise one or more visual indicators presented on the historical data that, when selected, present additional information that may be useful to managing the care of the patient.

Systems and methods for monitoring and controlling fluid infusion to a patient

Systems and methods are described for presenting information for managing a vital sign of a patient. A graphical user interface (GUI) can be presented that displays information concerning a vital sign of a patient, including the most current value of the vital sign received and past values of the vital sign over an elapsed time period. Using this information, a time in target value can be generated representing an amount of elapsed time the patient's measured vital sign was within a predetermined range. Preferably, the systems and methods are used with a closed-loop system that may automatically adjust a dosage rate of a medication, although manual control is also contemplated. The GUI may comprise one or more visual indicators presented on the historical data that, when selected, present additional information that may be useful to managing the care of the patient.

A wireless-connectivity system includes a sensor dongle configured to be electrically connected to a sensor device, a monitor dongle configured to be electrically connected to a medical monitor system, and a dongle-connectivity management hub configured to cause a wireless coupling to be established between the sensor dongle and the monitor dongle. The sensor dongle is configured to receive sensor data from the sensor and wirelessly transmit data to the monitor dongle via the wireless coupling, the data being based at least in part on the sensor data.
