A method in a main node for communication with a destination node over long distances. Use of at least one communications resource is synchronized with an auxiliary node. A main signal and an auxiliary signal are generated from an information quantity. The main signal is transmitted to the destination node by the at least one synchronized communications resource. The auxiliary signal is transmitted to the auxiliary node by the at least one synchronized communications resource.

Method and transceiver for network diversity in long distance communications

A method for synchronization of transmitted and received signals in frequency hopping communications systems. A synchronization unit is arranged for synchronization of transmitted and received signals in frequency hopping communication systems and a frequency hopping communication system including a synchronization unit.

Synchronization for frequency hopping (FH) communication

The invention discloses a system () for a fast frequency hopping radio, and comprises a transmit part () and a receive part (). Each of the receive () and transmit () parts comprise a unit () for random frequency generation, the random frequency generating unit of both parts being similar. The random frequency generator () of each of said parts comprises a pseudo random number generator, a PRN-generator, the PRN-generator being based on a FIR-algorithm, and said PRN-generator uses a clock signal which has been generated externally to the system as input. The external clock signal which is used is suitably a clock signal from the GPS-system.

System for a fast frequency hopping radio

A method of producing a digital beamformer signal by a number of antenna modules that are alike and by providing a system that implements the method. This is accomplished by introducing signal processing on each antenna module and by creating an asynchronous serial adding chain through the antenna modules to at least in part calculate the digital beamformer signal. Advantageous embodiments according to the invention perform time and space signal processing multiplexing to calculate additional digital beamformer signals.
