Systems and methods for real-time classification and verification of data using hierarchal state machines are disclosed. According to one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for real-time classification and verification of data using at least one hierarchy of individual state machines may include: (1) receiving, from at least one external data source, incoming data to be stored in a data store; (2) reviewing the incoming data to identity a possibility of the incoming data including at least one type of sensitive information; (3) identifying a hierarchy of individual state machines to review the incoming data based on the at least one type of sensitive information; and (4) providing the incoming data to the hierarchy of individual state machines. The hierarchy of individual state machines review the incoming data for sensitive information in the type of sensitive information, and the hierarchy of individual state machines execute an action in response to the incoming data including sensitive information.

Systems and methods for real-time classification and verification of data using hierarchal state machines

A client obtains, in response to a request to a server, a response that includes data for fulfillment of the request, a digital signature that can be verified using a digital certificate, and location information that specifies a location where the digital certificate can be obtained. The client uses the location information to access the location and obtains the digital certificate. Using the digital certificate, the client evaluates the digital signature provided in the response to determine whether the digital signature is valid. If the digital signature is valid, the client accepts the data included in the response for fulfillment of the request.

Digital signature verification for asynchronous responses

A server obtains response data for an asynchronous response to a request from a client. The server generates, in response to obtaining the response data, a digital signature for the response data. The server makes available the response data, the digital signature, and location information that indicates a location from which a digital certificate usable to verify the digital signature can be obtained.

A host may provide a client-managed hierarchical resource allocation. In some aspects, a host may analyze a computing system including a plurality of computing resources to identify, for various tasks, dependencies between the computing resources. The host may receive a new task to be performed by the computing system. The new task may be associated with a similar task performed by the computing system to enable modeling the new task using dependencies between computing resources which are determined from the similar task. The host may receive an estimate of computing resources required by the new task. The host may then allocate at least a portion of the computing resources to perform the new task based on the estimated workload of the new task and similarities between the new task and the similar task.

Client-managed hierarchical resource allocation

Technologies are described herein for customized identifier ('ID') generation by an ID service. One or more calling components ('components') remote from the ID service generate requests for IDs. The requests can include one or more rules defining how the IDs are to be generated, type data identifying a type of IDs to be generated, encryption data specifying whether, and if so, how the IDs are to be encrypted, and number data defining how many IDs are to be generated at a particular time. The ID service receives the request, and in response to the request, generates the number of IDs specified, in accordance with the rules, type data, and encryption data provided in the request. An ID database can store one or more of the IDs and/or rules associated with the components, such that each component can be relieved from maintaining its own database for ID operations.

Customized ID generation

Techniques described herein provide a self-service, run-time configuration store for interaction between a business owner and a Web service. For instance, the techniques may receive entity-specific configuration data from a business entity, may validate and store the entity-specific configuration data in a central location, and may receive a service-specific schema definition from a Web service. In response to a command to push the validated configuration data, or in response to a request to pull the validated configuration data, the techniques serve the entity-specific configuration data to configure the Web service for use with customers of the business entity.
